I am wondering if a chin implant would work for me to help improve my side profile. I have never liked my mouth, it's large and I have large teeth and lips to go with it. I hate the pads under my lips and how they seem to stick out. I also am unable to close my mouth all the way when relaxed. Would a chin implant help fix this? Is there other options, better options maybe? Should I even just leave well enough alone? Thoughts appreciated!

Answer: Chin implant, lip reduction, selective lipectomy Base on your photos chin implant will, most likely, create more balance in your face. I would suggest to delay any other treatment until chin augmentation result is visible and stable (6 months after augmentation). After that, if you are still unhappy with your lips and pads, you may consider lip reduction surgery (well hidden scars inside the lips), and possibly reduction of pads under your lips with liposuciton using very small cannula. You should consult an experienced board certified plastic surgeon in your area for detailed evaluation and discuss your options.
