I need removal of Medpor implants due to infection, half my face will not have implants anymore. Should I remove all of them?

I got malar and mandibular angle implants placed, the left side implants got INFECTED. Now I'm a bit skepetic about the MEDPOR material, since is porous and it has a higher risk of retaining infection, so SHOULD I go ahead take them all out and REPLACE them in the future with TITANIUM implants??, or wait with half my face different and get new medpor implants? (I don't even consider silicon implants anymore since I had a chin implant that cause severe damage to my bone)
