Hello there. I wanted to know if the procedure called nefritidi lift which is done with botox can improve the appearance of neck and jawline. I was reading about it but haven't seen many before and afters. Thanks.
Answer: Nefertiti neck lift Hi! Lindsay here, certified nurse injector for Dr. Mark Mason. I love offering (and receiving!) this treatment. Patient selection is key. If your skin is lax around your neck and jawline, you might not be the best candidate. If your muscles are strong, and your skin is in good shape, you will probably appreciate the subtle lift Botox can offer. I like a combination of intradermal and intramuscular injections for this area. I have some before and after photos on my Instagram page @BotoxNurseLindsay and there are many before and after photos on the #nefertitinecklift on Instagram. Be sure you see an injector who can show you photos of their own patients, with good results. Again, patient selection is really important for this procedure! Best of luck!

Answer: Skin Tightening for the Neck -- Kybella, Ultherapy, PDO NovaThreads, Thermage vs VASER Lipo w/ ThermiRF, Neck Lift Thank you for your question! A combination of non-surgical options like Kybella, PDO NovaThreads, Ultherapy and Thermage would do well in combination for skin tightening for the neck. VASER Liposuction (with ThermiRF, Renuvion and InMode FaceTite) is a great alternative for contouring and tightening the chin and neck and can be combined with a neck lift at the same time, if you're a candidate. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to develop a long-term treatment plan that works for you. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Yes - Botox can improve the appearance for 4 months & create a firmer jawline by relaxing the platysmal muscle bands in the neck Patient selection is important as this is typically reserved for athletic patients who do not have much subcutaneous fat in the neck. When they clench or flex their neck muscles - vertical platysmal bands are seen and these can be effectively treated with botox. This must be done by experienced providers as there is a limit to how much botox can be put in the platysmal bands without affecting the ability to voluntarily raise their head. When these muscles are relaxed - it allows the upper facial muscles to pull up unopposed - causing the jawline to appear tighter (in honor of Queen Nefertiti). I will attach a before and after video on my profile so you can see it.

Answer: Nefirtiti Lift and Botox The short answer is yes, maybe, but only for a short period of time. If you have significant laxity of the face and neck, obscuring a youthful neck and jawline, your best bet is to see a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in the different face and neck lift procedures. These procedures are long-lasting and typically well worth the investment.

Answer: Botox Question Dear SMRamirezSal,Thank you for your question. A Nefertiti will improving the muscle bands in your neck, but will not address loose skin or fat. Neck aging really needs a multimodal approach and Botox only addresses one of those factors. Consult with a qualified and experienced injector to learn more.
