Doctor Yew and his team are amazing. The office is well run and the staff is always kind. At my first appointment with Doctor Yew, I wanted under eye fillers, but he explained why I didn’t need them (I don’t). In my past experience other injectors would just take my money and do it, but Doctor Yew is different. He cares about the individual and only recommends for a true need. I’ve been going to Aesthetics Hawaii for 3 years for a variety of treatments- botox, filler, skin pen, facials. Every treatment has made a difference and helped me look and feel my best. Dr Yew and his team take the time to get to know their patients and genuinely care. In the last year, my husband and I have been doing fertility treatments so I brought it up to understand what was safe and what I should stop doing now as well as later. Doctor Yew showed so much care for me as an individual and what I was going through, sharing something he does is to be thankful ahead of time for blessings from God yet to come. I never thought of that- I always just worried and hoped ‘if’ it would happen. I went for an aesthetic treatment, got great results but also left more hopeful in a happier more grateful state. What you find in Aesthetics Hawaii is rare- a genuine care for the individual and a team with a bigger goal beyond just excellent aesthetic treatments, to make you look, feel and live your very best. The photos are right before and right after receiving temple filler from Doctor Yew. My temples were starting to get that concave ‘peanut head’ look and the filler made a big difference in achieving a natural, more youthful look.

I was given the RHA1 for my upper lip lines by Dr Yew and it looks great! He explained the procedure step by step and put me at ease. The numbing process is always important for comfort and I felt very comfortable during the procedure with numbing and breathing exercises he shows you before starting the process! I’m loving the results and plan on getting more treatments with Dr Yew!!

Dr. Yew is amazing. I am new to Botox and fillers. He put me at ease, answered all my questions, and did not push any procedures that I did not want. His philosophy is take it slow. Build a foundation for a more natural look. Highly recommend!

I was amazed. I am terribly afraid of needles; I’m a real cry baby when it comes to pain. I had the most miraculous experience as I did breathing exercises and listened to
worship music. Dr. Yew knows that I’m a pastor and the things that he talked to me about is what I tell people that I counsel. Dr. Yew was very respectful, yet truthful. They took pictures of me smiling through the whole process. I didn’t feel any pain I was just at peace. I felt totally safe and knew that everything was going to be great.

I heard of Aesthetics Hawaii through my girlfriend, which she highly recommended, I came here to get some Botox work done, this was my first time here, and I was pleasantly surprised. Upon entering, I was greeted with sincerity and Aloha. The front desk staff, Emily, walked me through the form filling process with ease. After about a 5-minute wait, I was greeted by Charity, who put my mind at ease with a very warm greeting. Upon entering her room, she walked me through exactly what we were going to do, and even asked my preferences, and if there were any areas that I wanted to work on. Throughout the entire procedure, Charity was very clear with every step in what she was doing, which very much put my mind at ease, as this was my first time doing this procedure. When we were done, she explained the healing process and what to expect. Sure enough, after a few days, the work she had done was perfect! Everything looked so natural, which is what I was looking for. They definitely put as much attention on the experience as they do the procedure. Thank you, Charity, I will definitely be back.

Dr. Yew is a board-certified physician with exceptional expertise. Depending on the state, various individuals can perform non-invasive procedures like injecting botox or fillers, but a board-certified physician is the only person qualified to inject anything into my face and, after visiting Dr. Yew’s office several times, he is the only physician I trust to perform these procedures. Although “non-invasive,” it is still your face. As a PhD and scholarly researcher myself, I conducted much research to find not only a qualified physician, but a doctor who is knowledgeable and who aims to help individuals who are seeking these services to be better versions of themselves and not have an unrealistic appearance. Safety and cleanliness were also of the utmost priority for me, especially as I sought these services for the first time during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Yew takes time with his patients and encourages you to think about what kind of outcome you wish to have and what is the best course of action based on your already beautiful self! He encourages starting conservatively, with a small amount (In my case, of fillers for lips and botox for fine lines between the brows.) and seeing how you like these results, and then, at your subsequent visit, you can discuss with him as he takes the time again to sit and talk with you and answers any questions, concerns, or inquiries you may have regarding how you wish to move forward in your next visit. He actively listens and responds not only with words, but with photos and visuals to help you understand various outcomes. One of my favorite aspects of Dr. Yew and his treatment team is the incorporation of mindful meditation, visualization techniques, and mindful breathing to help you to truly relax during the procedure. As someone who incorporates mindfulness and meditation into my daily life practices, I appreciate this unique approach that Dr. Yew encourages for his patients. It may seem a little odd at first if you are unfamiliar with mindful breathing, however, giving it a try with Dr. Yew’s guidance, is definitely to your advantage as research shows that meditation and mindful breathing help to reduce pain and anxiety.He and his staff are all incredibly kind, sincere, and welcoming. I have been seeing Dr. Yew every few months for 1.5 years and cannot imagine ever going to another office for these services (lip filler, botox). He is meticulous and keeps records including photos from various angles from each visit. This is integral as he can share them with you and you can visually see the progress and the evolution over time, and make an informed course of action for your current visit, collaboratively, with Dr. Yew. Fillers are not very painful, but they can be if you do not seek out a professional and Dr. Yew’s progressive techniques do wonders for pain management during the procedure, especially if you are feeling a little nervous, which is a perfectly normal feeling! You can read a myriad of horror stories with a simple google search as there are several ill-equipped and inexperienced individuals performing these services. Even experienced physicians may have poor bedside manner. When receiving a consultation about these services, you want someone who asks questions, actively listens, and is dedicated to the positive outcomes you will have as a result of aesthetic treatments.I am so incredibly thankful I found Dr. Yew and his staff. They make each visit a respite from my busy life. I also enjoy talking with Dr. Yew and his staff and learning more about these procedures as there are often new products to try and I trust Dr. Yew and appreciate the knowledge he shares when making a decision that is impactful. I realized it might be helpful to see before photos of my lips. Dr. Yew is very conservative when it comes to this treatment and it has been a slow progression for me just as others have noted in reviews. The first photo I posted with my review was from March 2021 and I had only seen Dr. Yew once in January of 2021 for my first visit and just a little filler to see how it would go. Now, I have been every 3-4 months for updates that are also conservative, sometimes adding very little to the lips. I also go for botox on a stubborn 1 line (not the “elevens” but 1 between the eyebrows). This has also been amazing and a great confidence booster for me!

After seeing Dr. Yew once every 3-4 months, 5 appointments since my first in January 2021, this is where I’m at currently. A slow progression. This photo taken in April and my appointment had been in previous appt. had been February 2022. I have so much more confidence and I also notice my lips look much different and fuller if I am properly hydrated, have used lipstick/gloss etc. I still use a plumping gloss as well.

I feel that I found my angel. I was lucky enough to stumble upon Aesthetics Hawaii while searching for the Best Facial Injectors in Hawaii. Dr. Yew came highly-recommend, highly-rated, and was highly-qualified. So I made my consultation appointment. Most Med-spa's, Dermatologist, Plastic Surgeon Offices, and Aesthetic centers jump right to "what would you like". The typical conversation of freeze this, tighten here, and can you lift that. Dr. Yew DOES NOT DO THIS. He is a visionary. He studies your face. He and his team take a wide rang of photo's and measurements, also while palpating your facial muscles and structure. He then downloads your images into his very own designed software. He then VISUALLY goes over all modifications you would like and what would look best. With his software, he then he shows you what these modifications will look like. Dr Yew also has the best bedside manner. His approach is very spiritual and calming. I leave not only looking refreshed but feeling more mentally refreshed and connected with my beliefs. Mind Body and Soul. Dr. Yew is the future of medicine and he's available now. Do not think twice. Aesthetics Hawaii and Dr. Yew is the Best on Oahu!

This was a 5-star experience from the minute I walked in the office. The staff was warm and friendly, and Charity patiently answered all my Q’s so I felt comfortable during my process. She didn’t push unnecessary procedures & explained what to expect. I did Dysport for crows feet and Restalyn Kisse filler for my lips, and 3 days later I looked “refreshed”- exactly the effect I was looking for. Charity has excellent injecting technique & is knowledgeable with pain management. I’m definitely returning to her when I need refreshing again.

Fantastic doctor and staff! Dr. Yew and staff made me feel special and welcome. They took time to learn more about me and help me connect to my true, “inner” beauty. We actually meditated together before my Botox procedure, then we practiced gratitude and mindfully blessed each injection. Dr. Yew truly seeks to help his patients radiate love and joy. I've had chronic TMJ issues which would cause headaches and stressful sleep. I did a ton of reasearch to find a doctor in Honolulu who would use botox to relieve my jaw clenching. I made an appointment with Dr. Yew since his website stated he has personal experience with TMJ issues and using botox to relieve his pain. He was booked for a couple months out (a good sign in my opinion!), but I'm so glad I waited for my first appointment. Dr. Yew and his assistant Jenn are so wonderful. They are such good listeners and also explain everything in detail, from procedure to cost. I've only had 2 treatment sessions and I've experienced major relief in my jaw and reduced the amount of headaches. At night I notice I'm more relaxed and get better sleep since I'm not clenching as much anymore. If you want to experience relief from TMJ, I highly recommend visiting Aesthetics Hawaii.
