Would I benefit from lipo or CoolScupting to achieve an hourglass figure?

If you want to have a significant result and are willing to undergo surgery, then there is no question that liposuction results are always far superior to CoolSculpting. However, if you do not want to have surgery, and you are interested in very small improvements in a few minor areas, then a non-invasive option might be a good choice for you. liposuction is gold standard and gets you the results that you want by sculpturing the area in controlled fashion.  Expensive of surgeon is key.  Average cost about $2500

You appear to be a good candidate for either procedure actually. CoolSculpting is great for younger patients, who are in good shape but have small areas they are not happy with. The procedure is non-invasive, you read or sleep while it is being done, no incisions, no bruising, and zero recovery. You can go to the gym and exercise the same day. But, only about 20% of fat will be removed and you will see this result over several months. Liposuction is a great option for you as well as you are not overweight and your skin looks tight which are important criteria for a great result. Liposuction is obviously more invasive, it is a surgery, you will have a small recovery period where you will be wearing compression girdles, you will have some bruising and you will be sore for awhile. But, liposuction will remove 90% of the fat in one short procedure. And, more contouring and sculpting can be achieved with liposuction. The most powerful transformation will come from Liposuction but your surgeon must have a lot of experience and be very passionate about lipo and achieving amazing results. Do your research. Cool sculpting results are usually subtle.

YThank you for your question and photo. This is a no brainer. You believe that a machine can achieve the same sculpted results as a highly trained body sculpting surgeon? Based on your photo, you do start out with a good bony frame. You would get a great hourglass figure with VASER Hi Def Lipo 360 degrees technique. No machine comes even close. great candidate for waistline contouring liposuction of your abdomen and flanks.   This can greatly improve your overall shape with a
smaller waist.  Make sure you specifically
look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this
surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.  The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend

this is a tough decision if you go to an HD liposuction doctor you can get an amazing sculpted look in a liposuction procedure and even use the fat to shape other areas like the face and buttock.  With cool sculpting + vanqish you will get improvement but need numerous treatments and will not get sculpting.  There is no downtime for that.  I suggest a formal consult with an expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

By targeting those stubborn areas, you can enhance your definition and shrink your waist down to get the hourglass figure. Coolsculpting is limited in what shaping it can do beyond removing a limited amount of fat in a single area. You might be a candidate for both procedures to help reduce fat in particular areas. Coolsculpting has the advantage of being completely non-invasive, but it only will reduce approximately 20% of the fat in the selected area and often requires multiple treatments. Liposuction has more discomfort and downtime, but is the best way to get a more dramatic body shaping result. In the end of the day, it is up to your expectations, your schedule, and whether or not you are trying to avoid post-surgical discomfort that will help you make this decision.
