I had an in-office lipo 2 months ago on my saddlebags. I had about 400 ccs removed and wore undergarments as recommended. I’ve been left with a weird dip, bulge and roll in that area that is very noticeable in clothes. What went wrong & what do I do?
Answer: 2 months post op irregularities Keep in mind that you will still experience swelling up to 4-6 months after liposuction. Allow it time to heal and if you need revisions after the healing time then make sure you're using a BC PS. During this time wearing your compression garments and doing massage can help as well. Best of Luck.

Answer: Liposuction Results & After care includes RF treatments (Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra) Cellutone/zwave, hyperbaric oxygen It is too soon to tell what your final results will be. You have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Liposuction Issues cheekydays. Sorry you are experiencing these problems. It appears that you may need a revision to improve the contour, but it is still too early to say for sure because it can take as long as 4 to 6 months for all swelling to resolve. Allow your body to heal and if there are still contour irregularities, follow up with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck.

Answer: 2 months post op in-office lipo on saddle bags, I've been left with dips, bulges, and rolls. What went wrong? You are still in the healing process and what you are seeing are not your final results yet. You may still be experiencing swelling, bruising and a degree of liquid accumulation. It usually takes 6 months for these to subside and only by then could you conclude your final results. Always keep in touch with your surgeon to avoid complications.

Answer: You are still in the healing process Hola cheekydays! At 2 months post-op it is still to early to see results or problem areas that require a revision. Remember the skin and subcutaneous tissue will continue to heal for at least 6 months after surgery. There is always the possibility of treating the skin with mesotherapy, carboxytherapy and other technologies to help assist with the irregularities of the skin and skin laxity. At my practice we try to remove very small amounts of fat from these areas that are prone to irregularities.
