Very easy!! I went from a 32A to a 32ddd. I got 525CC implants ultra high profile . I was up and moving after the 1st day of surgery. And the results are excellent ! They look great and people tell me they don't look ultra fake - say they look very natural . But you can definitely tell a BIG difference :)
When I called to schedule my consult, I was surprised at the wait time it would take for me to get seen. You're going to be waiting a while. I am still pretty swollen a week out, but the results I've seen so far are nothing short of amazing. When I took my binder off to shower the first time I couldn't believe my eyes and had to sit down to catch my breath. The time and money spent are well worth it. I wouldn't go to anyone or anywhere else. Every interaction I've had with his office, from the receptionists, to the nurses, to the wellness center NP, to Dr. Heck, and finally the surgery center staff has been great. You truly feel cared for.
Dr. Heck and his team are exceptional! They explained everything and answered every question. I always felt comfortable, heard and well taken care of during my entire journey. Most importantly, I absolutely LOVE my results! Seriously incredible! I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair and liposuction to abdomen, flanks and hips. My photos posted are only 4 weeks post op, so I’m still swollen and know the results will only get better!
I started my journey by researching on RealSelf. I’ve been dreaming of this for about 6 years and after research I felt comfortable going for a consultation. I was about 145 pounds, wore 9/10 jeans and a 36C bra before I had kids. After kids I’m 117 lbs and did not even fill up an A cup, it was very depressing and I no longer felt like a woman. I picked the absolute best surgeon in Columbus with 30 years experience and Columbus Aestetics and Plastic Surgery (CAPS) is a top notch facility for all kinds of treatment, very happy with my choice! Updated on 17 Dec 2022: I got 285 cc silicone naturell implants. I’m 5’5” and weigh between 116-123. I was a bit worried about going too small but Dr. Heck helped me choose a size that fit my body size and I’m happy with the size. The healing is going well but it does not look pretty…yet! Updated on 17 Dec 2022: This looks really yucky but the doctor and nurse said it looks very normal. The nipple wrippling will smooth out as it heals and will round out on the bottom of breast and hide those scars under the breast where the extra skin was removed. This is the worst part I hope! Updated on 20 Dec 2022: Feeling the muscle soreness but pain is manageable. Looking better but still a ways to go. Never had any bleeding from incisions. I have just cleaned gently with peroxide per my doctor, no scrubbing with soap. Took a shower and it did not burn or hurt like I thought it would.
It was definitely worth the wait and it can take a while to get in and complete your procedure. Everything went like clock work and so far I am extremely pleased! Still recovering and will be back swinging a club soon!
Thank you for helping me achieve less back & neck pain & more self confidence. Since my breast reduction I've felt amazing. It took me years to find the right surgeon. So glad I waited. My healing process went better than expected. Most pain was actually on day 7 & I think from itching & nerve pain that resolved after 24 hours. I was back at work after 10 days. Quite please with my results.
Wonderful experience. Dr Heck and his staff were professional and friendly. They treated me with kindness and respect. They listened to my concerns and answered questions in a timely manner. They were available by phone and email. They were about to get me in for extra appointment prior to my scheduled procedure date to answer additional questions and ensure that my procedure was exactly the way I wanted it I highly recommend Dr Heck and CAPS. My treatment plan was specific to meet my personal needs I felt that my needs were important to staff and they wanted to make sure I had all my needs met. The aftercare was impressive and I was given a goodie bag with sample products and a gift card The office is located in a nice location with shopping, dining and workout facilities close by. My husband was able to get a workout in while I had surgery since we live more than an hour away. The estimated time for the surgery and recovery was accurate and no issues during surgery I was informed on what to expect after surgery and instructions were reviewed with me several times and I also had written instructions.
Five stars, all the way. Dr. Heck and his team are absolute professionals and their confidence is contagious. For the last ten years, I dreamed about getting a breast augmentation and I am so glad that I pulled the trigger and booked a consultation. The amount of information online is abundant (both good & bad) and I came to the conclusion that if I wanted to know if my hopes were realistic I needed to go to the source-- the surgeon with the best reputation in Columbus. During the consultation, I shared with Dr. Heck that I wanted to retain my physical identity and wasn't looking for a certain "bra size", but rather to focus on proportion to my petite frame. I wanted this surgery for me, not to have someone look at me and think "boobs!". After taking my measurements, we "tried on" four different sizes that Dr. Heck selected and to be honest I was intimidated! I was afraid to go to the larger end of the range but he assured me that it would be just what I was looking for (and explained in layman's terms that the two sizes I was torn between only amounted to a ~1 tablespoon difference!). I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am to have had the level of trust in his expertise that his instincts were right for me and my goals. This Friday will be one month post-op, and I feel like I have the body I always pictured when I closed my eyes. I feel like myself. Lastly, I want to express the most sincere appreciation to the surgery center staff. With Covid restrictions, you cannot have a loved one enter the surgery center and I was terrified to not have an advocate there for me pre and post op to care for me and keep me at ease. Within 20 minutes of arriving my nurse felt like a friend. She, and all of the staff, were warm, kind, and informative. I was never alone and truly felt that I was cared for as if I was their own. Ladies -- don't hesitate to do something for yourselves that you've always wanted. You deserve to feel like this! Thank you, thank you, thank you. <3
I couldn't be more pleased with my CAPS experience. At my initial evaluation, I knew I had come to the right place Dr Heck and his team were so very kind, upbeat, professional, and supportive of my choice. The procedure and process from scheduling to financial were all clearly explained, and they made sure I understood. I was not stressed for my procedure, and the aftercare was excellent, and continues to be. I am delighted with my results and do recommend CAPS, Dr. Heck and his team very highly. Also, as a perk if being a patient, you have complimentary services and gift cards at their MedSpa. I am now getting lovely facial treatments, and have become a patient of their new dermatologist. High fives all around for CAPS!
Dr heck was amazing. I had a previous consult with another plastic surgeon who I felt only thought I would get great results with a lift. Dr heck listened; he understood I didn’t want the scars from a lift at this stage in my life. He gave me the best option and my breasts look amazing without having a lift.
Generally speaking coolsculpting was studied on healthy well patients with no recent medical issues. With that being said your cardiologist would have to clear you prior to any treatment. Secondly, in rare cases people sometimes get light headed during treatment or faint and although not common at all this may not be a good situation to be in with your heart history. I would personally have you wait at least a year or longer. Of course being on coumadin as well could give you bruising or risks that otherwise are not present when not on that medication.
We have been doing CoolSculpting over 6 years and we have not had this issue nor do I think it will happen again. However you can always do a round of antivirals beforehand just to be sure. It is not a contraindication for treatment although if you're in a current outbreak I would wait until it's calmed down and resolved.
CoolSculpting does not tighten skin as it only works on the fat cells. With that being said if your skin integrity is good you shouldn't be worried. I would advise an in person consultation with a trusted practice. If there is an issue upon assessment a good provider will advise you against coolsculpting if the skin would leave you unhappy.
This rare side effect from coolsculpting can occur on any part of the body. I have not personally seen it occur on the arms but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. We have seen it on the abdomen, bra line, love handles.
CoolSculpting can not be done on your clavicle. Perhaps a photo would be helpful to see what area you are actually talking about. It can do the bra puff (area on the side of a tank top) and can do the back of arms. There are approved areas a certified provider can explain in an in person consultation which is always best.
