Hi I am a 20 year old male with a large forehead. My foreheads been this large for as long as I can remember. I've never had the best hairline either. I am wondering what my options are when it comes to reducing my forehead. Thanks!
Answer: Young Male Hairline I would recommend sitting tight for now. I can understand why you are asking about this and we all feel that this is a great question, but you really shouldn't have any surgical procedures right now. You could consider medical therapies to at least maintain your current hair as best as possible. Those treatments are beyond the scope of my answer to this question. Answer: Need a side view We'd need to see a side view to know what to do. If your forehead is prominent it may be bone as well as a high hairline. For just a hairline concern we'd do hair grafts.

Answer: Very high hairline and large forehead. Very high hairline and large forehead. It would be best to wait before any treatment-either the Mayer hair Flap or hair transplants-to see how extensive your hairline loss will be.

How about your male grandparents' hair density?Hairline lowering surgery can not only reduce the size of your forehead, but can alter your frontal hairline. In my experience hairline lowering surgery fortifies follicle health and reduces future hair loss. However any surgery at your age MAY require future hair grafts if your hairline recedes over time.
