There isn't much you can do with over harvested donor area. Harvesting more from the area will make the donor area look worse.
SMP may be an option but you should see a doctor for a consultation before proceeding.

Anaphylactic shock is a life threatening reaction to a drug, food, or some substance.
If you have any allergies you should mention this to your doctor. Surgery does not pose any increased risk in anaphylactic shock than a dental procedure. The main medication used for surgery is lidocaine to numb up the head.

Scalp MicroPigmentation or SMP can take many sessions (more than 3) and it depends on the person doing it and the patient themselves. Each case is different.

Scalp MicroPigmentation or SMP is usually suitable for one specific length. You should have the SMP done with the ideal hair length you intend to wear. SMP is a flat tattoo. Hairs are three dimensional. SMP cannot perfectly match hair at various lengths.

Scalp MicroPigmentation or SMP post care regime is different for most doctors but in general topical alcohol should be avoided.

Follicular Unit Excision involves taking each hair follicle out using a small cylindrical instrument. It does not always work well for curly hairs since the cylindrical instrument is straight (not curved).
However, many men with curly hair still have FUE harvesting because they want to keep their hair short in the back without showing a linear scar.

Forehead advancement or hair transplant both work to lower your hairline. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Forehead advancement may not be the best at addressing the side temple areas you show in the photo.
It may be best for you to meet with various doctors that perform these types of procedures for an examination and understanding of what is possible.

I couldn’t be happier with my hair transplant! Dr. Pak and his incredible team have an amazing way of making their patients feel safe, comfortable, and informed. The results could not have been better! My family and friends have noticed a difference as well, and all are incredibly impressed by Dr. Pak’s skill. He naturally placed each hair individually, and the aesthetic result is impeccable. I have so much more confidence! I highly recommend this place! While it’s definitely an investment, I couldn’t be happier with my decision!
Dr. Pak and his team did an amazing job with the FUE hair transplant for my beard. I had trouble growing a full beard but with Dr. Pak’s experience and procedures I finally got a beard I have also dreamed of having! Very professional and always considers my point of views of how I envision my beard.
This is my fourth procedure with Dr. Pak since I started pretty young. They have all performed fabulously and I'm so happy with the results. His bedside manner is confident and warm at the same time. I'm very fortunate to have found him and appreciate his dedication to the craft.

And thank you for helping get my confidence back! When Dr. Pak tells you to trust the process, BELIEVE HIM!
It has been a little over three weeks since I had my procedure with Dr. Jae Pak. I thought I needed to write a review about my initial consultation as well as going through the procedure and the tremendous follow-up that I received from Dr. Pak and his excellent staff. I plan to follow up with a further review in nine months to a year after the results are apparent. I'm quite confident that I will be pleased but as anyone who understands the procedure it takes some time for the new grafts to fill in with growth. My initial consultation with Dr. Pak was nothing short of amazing. We spoke for a while about my lifestyle and what I was looking to achieve through this procedure. Dr. Pak asked me quite a few questions about my lifestyle and evaluated what would be the best procedure to perform for me. We discussed both the FUE and the FUT procedure and following his recommendation I chose the FUT procedure for the best outcome for myself. I had the same procedure a little over 10 years ago with a prominent Beverly Hills Dr. who has since passed away. His younger partner who took over his practice but does not perform the procedure, recommended Dr. Pak to me. And I am so grateful that he did. The day of the procedure I overslept by about 45 minutes and felt terrible, but Dr. Pak and his team were unflappable. It was like nothing happened. They calmed me down quickly and the procedure went as planned. I slept for 90% of it and we were done by approximately 2:00 PM. I went back to the hotel and slept fairly well. I showed up the next morning and got cleaned up by one of his wonderful assistants/techs. She showed me how to care for my scalp and the donor area for the next two weeks. To be frank, I was not 100% focused and needed to call back the next day to make sure I was cleaning and caring for the areas properly. That was absolutely no problem for the office. The same assistant who cared for me the morning before got on the phone quite quickly and walked me through how to properly care for the donor and recipient area for the next two weeks. For the next two weeks, I continued to stay in touch with Dr. Pak by e-mail. His availability to me was incredible. I believe every day that I sent an e-mail, I received a response typically within 30 minutes from him. I sent him pictures of my scalp on a several occasions and he came back to me with how I was progressing and assured me that everything was normal. One day I knocked the top of my head against a kitchen shelf. I was rattled but again one of his assistants got on the phone with me to assure me everything was going to be fine. I can't speak highly enough of how the Dr. handled my care as well as the initial consultation. In fact, when I showed up for the procedure that morning, the doctor referenced several things I'd mentioned in the consult that I didn't even remember I mentioned to him. He is calm, courteous, caring, professional and from the look of my scalp after the procedure, I would also say an artist. After the initial consultation, I sat down with his office manager and went through the payment structure. That was equally professional and courteous. She followed up with me with additional availabilities and I chose to add one of them to my procedure. Both the office manager and the doctor have remained in contact with me throughout my healing process. I feel like I'm part of the family of patients that have gone through Dr. Pak’s office. I can't speak any higher than that. If anyone is considering this procedure and has the availability to go see Dr. Pak, I would highly recommend him to anyone that I know. His staff were equally caring and professional. I wish the best to everyone who follows my recommendation! Tony B.
If you need a hair transplant, go to Dr Pak for it!!!!! Dr Pak has an artistic eye, and with that he's able to design and craft a natural looking hair line. The biggest worry for me was getting a unnatural and Dr Pak will easily create you a natural looking hair line. I trust Dr Pak so much that I have gotten to hair transplants from him (2nd transplant was to add more hair density).
Couldn't be happier, Dr Pak and his team were awesome, facilities were nice, it was reasonably priced, and most importantly the results exceeded my expectations. I had a scar in my scalp that was preventing me from parting my hair the way I wanted, and Dr Pak filled it in - you definitely can't tell anything was ever there. Obviously this part is going to vary on the individual, but it also grew in way way faster than they estimated it would. I'm quite picky with cosmetic services, and would absolutely choose him again. Thanks Dr Pak!
Simply put…Dr. Pak and his team are amazing. So unbelievably talented for hair restoration. Everything is carefully planned and catered to specifically YOU. Everyone has different needs and goals and you can be certain that they’re met with Dr. Pak and his team. I’ve been fortunate enough to have FUT/FUE and SMP and I’m thoroughly pleased with my decision with selecting Dr. Pak!
After you've made the life-changing decision to undergo a hair transplant, it's important to choose the right doctor for the best results. It's true that you can travel abroad for a similar procedure but I wanted to be certain that a highly trained physician would be conducting the surgery. Especially one that has the artistic vision for what a natural hairline should look on you. (He is actually an artist in the conventional sense too!) And natural is what I was looking for...not results that others would perceive as a "great" hair transplant; the super straight, symmetrical wig-like hairlines you see abroad. Great results are not cheap, but if you value a positive outcome then you've found the right doctor. Everyone at his office was extremely welcoming and left no guesswork for me the patient. You literally show up, take a nap (or watch Netflix) while getting the surgery, and that's it! First class service from pre-surgery to post-surgery. ...as a side note, I was directly recommended by a Netflix celebrity to Dr. Pak for the great results he received!
I am thrilled with the natural looking results from my beard transplant performed about 1 year ago with Dr. Jae Pak! I had a little over 2,000 FUT grafts transplanted, and the whole procedure was very professional with no real issues or problems. His office is very clean, professional and well designed with a very hospitable staff. Andrea in his office is very responsive and tends to the clients needs and concerns in a very timely, friendly manner through text and/or email, even during off hours. She was always checking-in to make sure I was doing ok during recovery, which was comforting. Honestly the day of the procedure was quite painless and easy. I actually didn't even need to take any of the pain medications that they gave me for recovery! I would say the toughest part was the recovery period of approximately 1 to 2 weeks due to some visual discoloration in and below the site area. I did have some unexpected visual yellowing of the skin below the site area that gradually faded away within 2 weeks, but there was no pain. It's basically a waiting game for both the recovery and for the new hairs to emerge, but the natural looking results are well worth it. About 4 months after the transplant, people started mentioning how great I looked in photos and social life has been real fun these days!
