Lowering hairline after lateral endoscopic brow lift? Do I have any non surgical options?

I had a lateral endoscopic brow lift 8 months ago. Unfortunately, it did not just lift the tail end of my brow...my central hairline went up as well (perhaps because I have a fairly flexible scalp?) Truthfully it has not gone up much, but my forehead appears taller and my hair does not fall the same. Do I have any non surgical options? If not, will my hairline/forehead return to its pre surgical state with aging? Thank you in advance!

I'm not aware of any non-surgical ways to lower a hairline. We can lower hairlines with forehead reduction surgery or with hair transplants. Forehead reduction tends to be the better option for most patients in my experience.Best,

Only time will tell if your hairline will drop but this may or may not happen.  We don't know how your procedure was performed so it is difficult to answer your question.  Hairline lowering and hair transplant are both likely options for you.  I would start with the surgeon who performed the procedure and seek another outside consultation if the original surgeon can't help you.

Unsatisfactory result from lateral Browlift. Your hairline can be lowered with a procedure I invented. Having done more than a thousand of these without having ever to revise a scar this is still the best procedure in my opinion for Hairline lowering with or without a Browlift. No need to wait longer since this will not improve.

You should probably give it some time before evaluating outcome of recent brow/forehead lift? If your forehead still looks too high after 12-15 months, a hairline forehead reduction should be considered; it can be done in local anesthesia. Good luck.

There are two procedures to lower the hairline. forehead reduction or hair transplant. Both involve surgery. Forehead reduction takes one hour, hair transplant several hours and may be noticeable since the transplanted hairs are not as fine as the natural hairs along the hairline.
