After a fat transfer, dermabrasion, Profound, JPlasma and Peptides, the results far exceeded my expectation; it really "turned back the hands of time." I was very impressed with Dr Kornstein's knowledge of stem cells, facial architecture, his eye for aesthetics, and his in depth description of each procedure and the reasons for combining them. The patience he and his staff showed me throughout the preparation phase, pre, and post surgery were commendable. I can be a real stickler for details! I highly recommend having a consultation with Dr Kornstein to find out what he would recommend, since everyone has different issues to address. He might even suggest something you hadn't noticed yet, which will keep you ahead of the aging-curve.
When you find the truth, there’s no reason to keep looking any further. Dr. Kornstein is an innovator of these procedures, and an artist at sculpting the body. Stop watching videos and marketing hype everywhere, this is the end of the road in plastic surgery, human care, and personal relationship. It’s hard to know the truth about medical procedures and who to trust. That’s why I’m writing this for others to understand, there’s no other choice where you will receive as close to perfect results as with Dr. Kornstein. He’s spent his lifetime in helping people reclaim their health and youth. I wasted a lot of money, not knowing, and ended with poor results to only continue the search for the truth. It’s painful and frustrating to trust a professional and find out they are not in their integrity or good at their craft. Funny, this platform is “realself” because Andy is more real as a person than a doctor, and he’s the best doctor in his field. My procedures were J-Plasma / Renuvion on my body (Chest, Arms, Back and Legs) correcting what was not done prior, and Fat Grafting / Profound RF on the face and neck. Ridiculous how incredible the results are in a short period of time, he does 80% and I’m responsible for the rest with self-love, exercise, and nutrition. Because of who he is personally and professionally, he’s attracted a team of doctors and nurses to support each client with the same integrity and care. It’s a blessing to have connected with this family of people, and their passion for medicine and healing.
I’m so happy I went to doctor Kornstein; he didn’t just do an amazing job but he also treated me with so much caring. I can barely see my scars (i did my surgery 3 weeks ago) . The stuff working with him are so adorable. Thank you for this gorgeous breast augmentation! Highly recommended.
I’m just at 2 months out from abdominal j-plasma and breast surgery with Dr. K. He also used profound on my upper cheek/undereye area. I am thrilled with my results. My abdominal skin is tighter and smoother with less skin to pinch. I continue to wear the sculpting garments and have downsized already. My breast surgery was to reduce the size of my implants. Dr. K used his skin tightening techniques with the implant surgery. They look great so far and the best part is no visible scar. His stitch work is amazing with nearly invisible stitches placed only on the bottom of the areola. I’m amazed at the result of the profound on my upper cheek area. It tightened an under-eye bulge that had been bothering me for a year and that I was sure I needed surgery for. Dr. K is always upbeat, friendly and easy to talk to. His easy manner is comforting and his experience and knowledge coupled with his eye for beauty in balancing the face and body is something that, in my opinion, makes Dr. K an exceptional surgeon.
I'm one week out from fat harvesting, full facial transfer, and reunivion to my lower cheeks, neck, and under chin. I'm healing well, and watching the progress as I move towards healing is exciting. I can tell that the outcome will be exactly what was needed to correct some minor concerns that have to do with slowing down signs of aging. I'm a 37-year-old woman and like to try to get ahead of problems, in general, before they become too big of an issue. I'd like to talk about not only the quality of work from Dr. Kornstein but my experience with him as a physician. I've undergone 3 rounds of plastic surgery with 3 different surgeons and met with nearly a dozen in the last 5 years. I consider myself lucky as I've always had positive experiences with my surgeons and their teams, and I've always gotten the results I am looking for. That said, I am extremely suspicious of the plastic surgery industry and interview surgeons with a lot of initial skepticism. Everyone wants to sell their product and claims to be the best, and to me, the industry feels like a meat market. This is why I feel grateful to have had such exceptional care from Dr. Kornstein. Our consultation wasn't a one-and-done. He took the time to show me the appropriate samples of his work and answer all of my questions. He also encouraged me to come to the office so we could go over more details and I never once felt spoken over or down to. I also never felt pushed to immediately put down a deposit. He was available until I decided to make the appointment several months later. The morning of the surgery was a bit of a mess. I had the wrong address for the surgery center, and whether that was my error or an error in communication with reception, I had to drive nearly an hour and a half in another direction which was stressful for me, but also left an entire surgical staff sitting around waiting. I was deeply embarrassed when I arrived at the hospital, but everyone was so kind and relaxed, including Dr. Kornstein. One other hiccup that morning had to do with the anesthesiologist. The payment is given to her separately. The problem is that since she is paid by the hour, there is no way to know how much you will owe her ahead of time. This leaves you with the option of bringing in a large wad of cash, a blank cheque, or needing to make an electronic payment while waking up on the operating table. I do not want to overshadow an otherwise fabulous experience with this story, so I'll spare the details, but I do recommend preparing to have the person picking you up to deal with payment. It's such a foggy, vulnerable experience waking up from surgery, and money should never be the first thing you are forced to focus on. A suggestion for the team is to have the maximum possible amount charged electronically and then to have the unused portion returned after the surgery. Liability could be covered by having the patient sign a printed invoice on their way out the door. Back to Dr. Kornstein. This is a surgeon with a skillful touch who truly understands the nuances that make up a beautiful face. He could easily set up an Instagram account and a Manhattan office doing strictly fillers, and he wouldn't be able to keep up with business. Instead, he is focused on his craft; facial fat transfer that improves not only the aesthetics of the face but the health of the tissue and bones. The process is painstaking, and the results are permanent. No twenty-minute med-spa rush job with clients coming for touch-ups every 12 months. I greatly respect anyone who dedicates themself to their craft like this. Thanks, Dr. Kornstein. You'll be my first choice for any future procedures.
My experience with Dr. Kornstein was great! I was interested in getting Profound RF for my face and having Lipo with JPlasma my belly, back and sides and after having consultations with several doctors, I am so happy that I chose Dr. Kornstein. Dr. Kornstein made me feel so comfortable, answered all of my questions and explained exactly what he was going to do. I am very happy with my results so far and look forward to seeing the final results in another few months! The entire office staff is great and I highly recommend Dr. Kornstein to anyone thinking of having surgery.

Great experience. Dr. K has a patient, friendly and collaborative bedside manner and his eye for detail, especially the 3-d elements of the nose was impressive. He was able to accomplish more with just filler in my nose than two doctors were with a scalpel.
Dr. Korstein is not just a surgeon, but an artist! I came to him for breast augmentation on Oct. 2nd 2020. So it’s been 9 months now and I am so pleased with the results. I have a short stature, 4’10 and a thick frame with 32 B cup. I wanted to balance and feminize my body, so I came to him because he is known to keep it natural, tasteful and scarless. During the consultation and throughout our discussion, Dr. Kornstein was very conscience of not making me too top heavy, given I am petite. He focused on proportions and discussed options to have more side boob than more chest. I am so happy with my new set of boobies! After 9 months, my boobs feel like they’re mine and fits my body so well! Everyone should definitely get treated by Dr. Kornstein. He is the best of the best!!
I received a Profound treatment from Dr. Kornstein and am absolutely thrilled with the results. It not only greatly improved the quality of my overall skin tone but also tightened the skin around my eyes and cheeks. A mini-facelift! The downtime was OK - just some minor bruising and swelling. Took about 10 days for the swelling to completely go down but was OK after 5 days. I highly recommend this procedure with Dr. Kornstein for anyone not ready for a facelift but wanting some tightening and skin tone improvement!
Is the photo before any surgery or after a rhinoplasty? Turning down the nasal tip(derotating the tip) does require a full understanding of nasal anatomy as well as cartilage graft material--septum or ear in order to make the nose architecturally stable over the long term. With experience it is a highly predicable and aesthetic surgery. Sometimes I will use temporary filler to show the patient how their nose will look after surgery. Hope this helps
Skeletal studies demonstrate that the aging process is one of bone and fat volume loss. Facelifts cannot lift or redrape tissue that is no longer there. Therefore properly performed fat grafting restores volume long term(10-15 years in my personal experience) as well as acts as a potent anti aging force by restoring growth factors and circulation. Restoration of the forehead, brow, temple and lower lid natural gentle contours is one of the most underrated signs of youth in my opinion. I published a medical journal article on the topic specifically because it is so underappreciated. Hope this helps
In my personal experience doing fat grafting, roughly 25 years, the most reliable means of reducing periorbital hyperpigmentation(dark blue color) is the use of body fat(adipose) derived stem cells which have growth factors and enhance circulation enabling the body's healing factors access to heal the skin Hope this helps
Virtually every post surgical issue has a long term aesthetic remedy Your present and pre-operative photos would be a great place to start for advice on how best to proceed
There are two separate issues: aesthetics and function. Aesthetically you have a strong masculine nose, slightly large, however against a background of weak(sunken) cheeks, temple and forehead. These issues will all progress with age. Furthermore, what if your nose loses the strong definition it now has? Another alternative is to do fat grafts to the cheeks, temple and forehead in the operating room that will last 10-15 years based on 25+ years experience while enhancing skeletal blood supply and slowing bone aging. This can be done in combination with a functional rhinoplasty. There is a medical publication on this very topic. Hope this helps
