You are right that your face is round, but that isn't a bad thing. Round faces age better than long, narrow faces. If you want to have better definition you may consider liposuction of the neck and jawline. There is not much fat, but removing a small amount of fat can sometimes make a big change. You may also consider a small amount of cheek fat removal (buccal fat), but this should be done very conservatively and after a full discussion with your surgeon.

Hello, hope you are well. There are three things that I think you should consider: buccal fat removal, FaceTite/NeckTite (bipolar radiofrequency treatment), and masseter botulinum toxin. All of these things help slim the lower face and jawline in different ways, and all of them can be performed in the office under local anesthesia. Yes, this looks genetic. I'd do buccal fat removal and Necktite. Necktite is liposuction with energy to contract the tissues. I feel that this will give you a very nice contoured appearance to your neck and a much sharper more "snatched" jawline. This is all an office procedure so in and out in an hour or so.

The term "chin liposuction" typically refers to liposuction of the neck just under the chin. The photo indicates that procedure will be very beneficial for your neck contour. A physical exam needs to be done to determine what is necessary for each patient.

Soft tissues tend to be very consistent from person to person and play little role in facial aesthetics and overall facial contour. Plastic surgeons tend to be soft tissue oriented, except for those who have proper craniofacial training. Oral surgeons tend to have a more skeletal based assessment method and I recommend having in person consultations with both oral surgeons and plastic surgeons.
