Hello, Please see photos. Will Chin Liposuction resolve the issue under chin ? Looking to remove pouch and improve jawline. Age 47. Would Chin Lipo do this? I am trying to not have to do neck lift but want good results. Please advise if chin lipo will be good for my issue.
Answer: A combination of morpheus8 and ultherapy can help reduce appearance. These can be paired with liposuction as well Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Improve Jawline I would reocmmend a lower facelift/necklift. Liposuction will only suction the superficial layer of fat. You have excess superficial and deeper fat in combination with excess skin and a loose platysma muscle. The only way to correct any of these appropriately with a good outcome is surgery. I recommend seeing a plastic surgeon who has completed at least 6 years of plastic surgery training (ideally 7 if an aesthetic fellowship was completed).

Answer: Chin Contouring with VASER, ThermiRF, Coolsculpting, Kybella, Thermage, Ultherapy, Exilis, J plasma/Renuvion/Inmode BodyTite I find that VASER liposuction in combination with Renuvion or ThermiRF are best for contouring the chin in those who are candidates, but Kybella can be used as an alternative and gets better results when combined with Thermage/Ultherapy/Exilis, TruSculpt iD, or Coolsculpting. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Chin liposuction Based on your photos you can consider chin liposuction, but you risk having loose, sagging skin. An in person consultation is best but a neck lift may be the better choice for you. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you for an evaluation.

Answer: Chin lipo or necklift? Dear MeriadMaiden143, Thank you for your question! Based on your photo, I would recommend chin lipo + necklift. The chin liposuction will remove the fat, but not tighten the skin, so you would end up with loose skin. You would need to meet surgical criteria for this procedure and be in good general health. I recommend seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon who performs neck lifts for a consult.
