Female, 55, 200ish pounds. I remember feeling self conscious always about this area. When Im very skinny its barely even a double chin but hard to tell with photos because of smiling and angles, head posture. I consulted yesterday and he said Im in the middle of lipo or lift. Mentioned having some extra skin (genetic?). Not sure if its significant, or just mild to moderate or can be okay with lipo since I am young. Also no idea if I got skinny enough if Id still have some fat there or need a lift. I would like to lose weight and it would be nice to get down to a healthy bmi but realistically dont see myself losing more than 20 lbs. I was confused because Ive seen people who looked similiar to my side profile, and they got great lipo results, said I would be ok with lipo and not needing a lift. The doctor I saw offered smart lipo combined with facetite or Morpheus. I asked about doing just lipo but he didnt recommend it. I think their office only does lipo with it. People told me too I could prob do just fine without the Morpheus? If I lost a lot of weight or even now, would Morpheus treatments give good results or only if really skinny? I also didnt understand what a mini neck lift was either. Would lipo be great for me to do? I also felt I had a slightly weak chin towards the bottom but the surgeon said its fine. Not sure if genioplasty would be too much, maybe some chin filler but the double chin area bothers me most
Hi, I am a 25 year old woman. I have had this big insecurity about my chin since middle school due to all the bullying I received about it. I want to know how to get rid of the extremely pointy and sticking out appearance. It feels like a bunch of fat or tissue in front of bone where my chin is. If I do duck lips, I make it disappear. Was looking for help.
I am 33 years old, very healthy and fit (high functional fitness and body building type weight traininf 3-4 times a week. I am currently 61kg at 5'2 with a low body fat percentage, no more than 20% at present. I have always struggled with a round face, even when my body weight is low. I have to fight to stay tiny to be happy with the shape of my face and am undergoing surgery in a few weeks to have my implants changed after 10 years. I'm so tempted to ask the surgeon if they would consider chin lipo at the same time so i can just get it out of the way in the same procedure! Would i be a good candidate for chin lipo?
Looking to see if chin lipo is worth it for me. i am not interested in chin implants or buccel fat removal as well. I am 29 and weigh 176 and losing more weight my chin has always been my stubborn area and my most self concious area. I would like to keep the volumes of my cheeks
I had submental liposuction done on my lower face in 2021. The doctor took out way too much fat which left a large lump showing through on my left lower side. After having numerous other procedures (buccal fat removal, FaceTite, Morpheus, lasers) to try to fix my face, it still looks awful. What is the best suggestion to make this look better (not so lumpy and loose)?
Ive had fullness under and around my chin my whole life, even when Ive been at my thinnest at around 115lbs. Ive gained weight since quarantine, but still Im not a big bodied person and my under chin/jawline is my biggest insecurity. I decided to have chin lipo in January of 2022 from a Doctor in Delaware. He claimed he couldnt take any more fat out bc of causing lines/denting. Is this true? Or is there anything else I can try?? First 2 photos are before lipo, last 2 are from last week.
Ive been considering chin lipo. Ive been to 3 doctors. One stated he will make 3 incisions. He also warned me of temporary nerve damage. The other two doctors only make one incision directly under the neck. I want to ensure my jawline is done too. One doctor who makes 1 incision stated he could get it all, I dont have much. What is best to ensure a nice jawline on a thin patient with minimal fat? Im not comfortable posting photos just looking for a surgeons opinion on the number of incisions
I have significant submental fat; however, I also have overdeveloped muscles under my jaw, as my dentist put it. Perhaps as a result of TMJ? If I stretch my chin up to the sky, the muscle pokes out and is firm to the touch. That is why I am asking if chin lipo alone would help my case or if I need a more in-depth procedure. For reference I'm a 30-year-old Eurasian female. Thank you!
