im 6'0 with a low body fat percentage weighing 80kg. I have a buildup of fat on the front of my chin making it portrude. It isnt bone as i can easily wiggle it about and extends outwards making me feel very self concious of my smile and face in general.
I have always been insecure about the bottom half of my face, particularly when I smile because of my uneven chin and weird cheek bulges (jowls?). I do have a bit of a double chin from the side and I think it might be recessed but I honestly dont mind this, its my front profile I am most concerned about. Is the issue I have an issue because of fat, or is it more musclebased? I do have TMJ that causes my mouth to move towards the right hand side so I was wondering if masseter Botox might also work. Ideally I am looking for a non invasive procedure and no filler I have attached photos from different angles! The left side of my chin is more dimpled than my right and there is more skin there to grab. Due to my TMJ I talk more out of the right side of my mouth so Im not sure if this plays a role. I have been told by my dentist that the structure of the jaw itself is fine.
Id like to eliminate the small excess bump of extra fat under my chin however Im not sure if liposuction or a different outpatient approach would be appropriate. Ive had consultation at med spas which have Kybella and different skin tightening treatments available. However, the waitlist for a plastic surgery consult at my medical center is quite long so I have admittedly not yet met with a plastic surgeon on this issue, but plan to do so. Im 31 years old so I believe my skin laxity would still be enough for lipo. However, I dont have a large amount of fat here and Id like a conservative result. Ive seen some commentary on celebrities who have emphasized platysmal bands due to (suspected) chin lipo as well as concerns about trending procedures which remove facial fat causing an unwanted aged appearance. Are the aesthetic risks worth the reward in this situation?
Looking to see if chin lipo is worth it for me. i am not interested in chin implants or buccel fat removal as well. I am 29 and weigh 176 and losing more weight my chin has always been my stubborn area and my most self concious area. I would like to keep the volumes of my cheeks
I had chin lipo earlier this year and as I healed this indent in my chin appeared. It has just been getting worse as my skin laxity has decreased with the THERMItight. You will also see there is a burn from the skin tightening, but this is getting treated and is slowly getting better. I am wondering what can be done about the indent from the cannula under my chin.
Female, 55, 200ish pounds. I remember feeling self conscious always about this area. When Im very skinny its barely even a double chin but hard to tell with photos because of smiling and angles, head posture. I consulted yesterday and he said Im in the middle of lipo or lift. Mentioned having some extra skin (genetic?). Not sure if its significant, or just mild to moderate or can be okay with lipo since I am young. Also no idea if I got skinny enough if Id still have some fat there or need a lift. I would like to lose weight and it would be nice to get down to a healthy bmi but realistically dont see myself losing more than 20 lbs. I was confused because Ive seen people who looked similiar to my side profile, and they got great lipo results, said I would be ok with lipo and not needing a lift. The doctor I saw offered smart lipo combined with facetite or Morpheus. I asked about doing just lipo but he didnt recommend it. I think their office only does lipo with it. People told me too I could prob do just fine without the Morpheus? If I lost a lot of weight or even now, would Morpheus treatments give good results or only if really skinny? I also didnt understand what a mini neck lift was either. Would lipo be great for me to do? I also felt I had a slightly weak chin towards the bottom but the surgeon said its fine. Not sure if genioplasty would be too much, maybe some chin filler but the double chin area bothers me most
Hi, I am a 25 year old woman. I have had this big insecurity about my chin since middle school due to all the bullying I received about it. I want to know how to get rid of the extremely pointy and sticking out appearance. It feels like a bunch of fat or tissue in front of bone where my chin is. If I do duck lips, I make it disappear. Was looking for help.
I am 33 years old, very healthy and fit (high functional fitness and body building type weight traininf 3-4 times a week. I am currently 61kg at 5'2 with a low body fat percentage, no more than 20% at present. I have always struggled with a round face, even when my body weight is low. I have to fight to stay tiny to be happy with the shape of my face and am undergoing surgery in a few weeks to have my implants changed after 10 years. I'm so tempted to ask the surgeon if they would consider chin lipo at the same time so i can just get it out of the way in the same procedure! Would i be a good candidate for chin lipo?
