Hello, I am 28 and a healthy weight but have a very small amount of fat under my chin. I was wondering If chin lip would be a good option for me. I would prefer to go on the conservative side to avoid any complications.
Answer: Recommend doing something less invasive such as Morpheus8 to help tighten under the chin Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

Oftentimes, a small amount of fat can give the appearance of a double chin. Lipo can remove this fat, and can often be done under local anesthesia and with a very rapid recovery. Or course, only a consultation can tell you if this is the best thing for you.

Answer: Chin Liposuction Limitations Hello, hope you are well. Submental 'chin' liposuction is great for removing subcutaneous fat--the layer of fat that is directly beneath the skin. It's hard to be certain without examining your neck in person, but based on your photos it appears more likely that the fullness under your chin is from deeper structures (the digastric muscles). If that's the case, chin liposuction may leave you disappointed.

Answer: Chin Contouring with VASER, ThermiRF, Coolsculpting, Kybella, Thermage, Ultherapy, Exilis, J plasma/Renuvion/Inmode BodyTite I find that VASER liposuction in combination with Renuvion or ThermiRF are best for contouring the chin in those who are candidates, but Kybella can be used as an alternative and gets better results when combined with Thermage/Ultherapy/Exilis, TruSculpt iD, or Coolsculpting.
