I got liposuction on my stomach and back in Sept 2018 and I'm about 3 months post op. There was not a dramatic change and I hoped for better results. I was wondering if more liposuction would help me get a flatter stomach or does it look like I need a tummy tuck? Also will more liposuction or coolsculpting help get rid of my back fat? I'm also dieting and exercising for optimal results but dont want to lose my curves.
Answer: More lipo? Hi Lynnia, thank you for your question. I would wait until 6 months after your liposuction to see the final results after all swelling has resolved. If you would still like to see a tighter abdomen at that point, a physical examination with a board certified plastic surgeon would let you know if the issue is remaining fat, extra skin, or a combination of the two. If the only problem is excess fat, additional liposuction would be useful. I recommend using ultrasound in secondary liposuction cases to help break up scar tissue. If, however, there is excess skin, a tummy tuck may be the way to go. In terms of your back, if you are not happy after six months, ultrasound-assisted liposuction should also work well here.

Answer: Liposuction Options Lynnia. It appears from your photographs that diet and exercise combined perhaps withtraditional liposuction of your back may be your best option. You should wait at least another six months before undergoing liposuction again, however. CoolSculpt has brought too many unsatisfying results to so many of my patients to recommend this procedure. Good luck.

Healing after liposuction can take up to 6 months, this is when you get to see the final results. best is to give it some time before you make a decision. Make sure to follow your surgeon's post op instructions to achieve the best results.

Answer: Liposuction vs. liposuction with TT It is very difficult to give you good advice without in person evaluation. Based on these photos I would ques that aggressive liposuction of abdomen and flanks would improve your result significantly. However, whether TT should be part of your surgery one can decide only on the basis of in person evaluation. I would suggest delaying liposuction only surgery for at least one year after your last procedures.Good luck.
