Is warm water bottle massage advised at 2 weeks after liposuction?

Question

After liposuction, there are hardnesses on body. I heard that warm water bottle massage on the hardness or liposuction areas makes them soft because this type of massage melt fat so the hardness will be soften by the warm water bottle massage. Would you recommend if warm water bottle massage is good or bad to do?

I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Liza.  It sounds like you are experiencing normal postoperative swelling and early, temporary scar formation under the skin. I recommend only gentle self massage with moisturizer and simply let the healing process continue and the firmness will eventually resolve on its own. All type of heat treatment (including sauna, jacuzzi, hot water bags, etc) should be avoid completely after liposuction or any type of plastic surgery because the heat will cause more swelling. Ask your doctor. Dr. Cardenas
