What can I do about loose skin after lipo? (Photos)

Based on your pictures and description, you seem to be a good candidate for 4D Hi-Def VASER Liposuction combined with Renuvion (J-Plasma) to eliminate excess fat from multiple areas while tightening your skin at the same time. I recommend the VASER liposuction as opposed to other methods of liposuction since you have some skin laxity. This advanced body contouring is the only liposuction method clinically proven to cause 53% skin retraction relative to other techniques, and the risk for contour irregularities (indentations and fibrosis) is significantly lower with the use of the VASER machine. Hi, thank you for your question. Of all the devices available to tighten loose skin after liposuction, radio frequency energy has offered the beast results in my hands. The appearance of your back could also potentially be improved by breaking up some of the tissue anchoring the valleys in the rolls of your back to deeper tissue. I would recommend an in-person evaluation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss all your options.

Thank you for your questions.  Looking at the photos you have provided it does look like you can benefit from some additional liposuction in combination with the J-Plasma laser.  This particular laser helps very well with skin retraction.  I would suggest seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and discussing your concerns.  Best of luck to you. 

Thank you for your question and photos. Based on these photos, you still have excess fat on the back, waist, hips and the upper buttocks are square. Since you already had two sessions of liposuction, your best option would be VASER Hi Def Lipo and J-plasma at the same time. The liposuction needs to be done 360 degrees to achieve the best skin retraction. Not everyone who owns a VASER is an expert in using it. See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck.

To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

From your photos, you appear to be a good candidate for BodyTite.  BodyTite does not remove any fat, but it is capable of producing a 45% contraction in tissues.  It can be combined with liposuction to improve contours dramatically.  Results can be seen immediately after one treatment and are more evident over three to six months post-treatment. Wait until six months to fully evaluate the aesthetic results.  Sedentary activities can be resumed in two to three days and full activity with exercise within two to three weeks. 

Bodytite is a radio-frequency treatment which serves to tighten skin (much like Thermi-tite). This accomplished by subdermal heating of the collagen fibers which can cause tightening as well as stimulate fibroblast activity for collagen deposition. This can be combined with liposuction (but does not necessarily need to be). 
The fat removal component is no different than traditional liposuction. For those patients with excess fat in the absence of skin laxity Bodytite does not necessarily hold an advantage over more traditional liposuction. However, in patients with laxity or in whom there is a concern for worsening laxity post liposuction, a radio-frequency tightening will help.
Bodytite demonstrates a 30% tightening (vs. 7% liposuction, SmartLipo 15%). This differs from VASER (or ultrasound assisted liposuction) where there any tightening affect outside of what can be expected from traditional liposuction based upon the inherent elasticity in the skin and the heat generated secondary to the movement of the cannula. However, this heat is not directly monitored and is less a goal than a side effect..

Thank you for your question and photo.  From what I can see, you still have some fat in your waist and bra roll area.  You would likely benefit from liposuction in combination with radio-frequency skin tightening (BodyTite) to help minimize and loose skin.  Good luck. 

Patients with mild loose skin with local fat are great candidates for Bodytite. This is a (RFAL)  radio frequency assisted lipolosys  that offers surgeons and patients a new choice in skin tightening. We have seen really great results with back rolls.

Currently there are 3 internal tightening devices that heat the skin from the inside out - Bodytite, Thermi (and the newer Thermi is called Arvati) and Renuvion (JPlasma). There are no studies that show any of these devices is better then the other. I have tried all 3 and currently have Bodytite and Arvati. Any of these devices should help tighten your skin along with some additional liposuction
