I have a recessed chin when I am not smiling but it becomes less noticeable when I am smiling. I am considering getting a genioplasty, but I am afraid that if I were to bring the chin forward it will come out too far when I am smiling! Not sure if jaw surgery is necessary, but I am hesitant to get any jaw surgery because I had a rhinoplasty and I heard it can change the shape of your nose!
