i got my lips done around 10:00am yesterday it is now been exactly 24 hours and the swelling is still not subsided at all. i’m scared if i’ve been botched lol. the swelling is also very uneven. what should i take for it to go down? i’m scared if i made a huge mistake
Answer: Swelling with lip fillers Swelling is normal with lip fillers. The swelling can last 1 to 2 weeks. Sleep with your head elevated .Ice on and off the first day can diminish swelling and bruising. Evaluate your lips after 2 weeks...if need be adjustments can be made in your filler.See your injector at that point if any adjustments are needed.

Answer: Swelling post Juvederm Swelling can be extreme sometimes after filler in the lips. Typically the onset is about 4 hours post and slowly subsides over several days. Based on the immediate after photo, (which looks good), it appears that you are in the "extreme" swelling category. Sometimes Prednisone can be prescribed to reduce swelling faster.
