Love Erickson Dermatology! I've been seeing Dr. Erickson for 9 years and She is always attentive, patient, knowledgeable and caring! She and her staff are on the pulse of the newest treatments for every skin concern. I highly recommend!!
Staff was so welcoming upon arrival of my appointment. . Dr. Erickson‘s office is just beautiful and professional. Overall, I am very happy with my consultation that I had with Dr. Erickson. She took her time to explain her work of my concerns very detailed. I will definitely be returning in the near future.
Best ever!! Don’t go anywhere else! Listen to every word Dr. Erickson and Nurse Randi say! I’ve been scammed and scarred by many derm offices. You won’t have to worry with her! First of all, she is extremely nice, understanding, and listens to your problems. She always makes time for you no matter how big or small your problem is. I have had microneedling with prp, prp injections, halo, Botox, Moxi, and silk laser Genesis at her office. All have been great in their own unique way. Chicago is very fortunate to have this world class dermatologist office in their city!
Dr. Quenby is so artistic and she uses all of her medical and cosmetic expertise when working with a client--me! AND I am always over-the-top pleased with her deft and magical hands! Her staff could not be any nicer and at the same time uber professional. You will love your experience, trust me. I've been a client since she opened her beautiful doors.
Dr. Erickson is an outstanding practitioner! I have been going to her to address all of my skin and aging concerns for nearly 8 years. She is attentive, listens to concerns (address the concerns by providing options), and is an artist at keeping her patients youthful! There is NO ONE else I trust in the city of Chicago. You're missing out if you have not had a consult with her and her outstanding yet!
I recently had the Silhouette Instalift with Dr. Erickson and absolutely love the results. There were a couple of days with a little dimpling where the threads attach, and some swelling, but the lift it gave me is enough to really make a difference with some jowl issues, but is also subtle and doesn’t look unnatural. I’ve been going to Dr. Erickson for several years, and wouldn’t trust anyone else with this. She has an amazing eye for your face’s asymmetries and structure, backed up by her experience and medical knowledge. This was absolutely worth it.
Dr. Erickson and her staff are very personable, kind, knowledgeable, and listen to the areas you want improvement upon versus trying to make you feel like you need to overhaul your whole self. I feel safe in their hands and it's amazing how many treatments she has to offer.
I had both a Hydrofacial and FemTouch yesterday. My skin is clear of blackheads and very soft from the facial. I had known about FemTouch for a while. I’m in my 72 hour downtime, but looking forward to experiencing the results on Monday night when my husband and I take our maiden voyage.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Erickson and her wonderful staff for close to three years, starting a few months before I turned 30. My dermatologist retired and when I was looking for a new one, I read reviews for Dr. E and figured, “I can get my yearly full body check AND advice on aging gracefully? Amazing.” So I went in for an initial consult and full body check. I explained that I was about to turn 30 and knew I was already pretty young looking, but wanted to hopefully preserve that for as long as possible. I imagine it’s difficult line for aesthetic practitioners to walk; advising a patient on how to improve their looks without hitting on any sensitive subjects and making the patient feel worse, or like they’re aware of a new problem that needs to be fixed. I’ve never felt anything but positivity and like an “in this together” vibe throughout my various treatments at this office. I have done Botox, BBL (broad band light/laser?) and BBL Halo/Hero (forget which one), hydrafacial with dermaplaning, and EmSculpt on my abs. At no point have I ever felt self conscious or like I’m being judged. Dr. Erickson is an amazing injector- somehow she can injects in exactly the right spots so that specific parts will be fully immobilized, but there’s still movement overall. I get most of my Botox in my glabella (I’m a furrower, and this prevents me from being able to furrow) and a small amount in my forehead. No one has ever accused me of not being able to emote properly. The BBLs were suggested to me as a once-a-year thing to reverse sun damage and remove brown spots, with the benefit that if you do it yearly, your skin will look the same a decade from now. I can’t speak to that because I’ve only done 2 over less than 3 years and haven’t seemed to age much in my early 30s, so we’ll see, but my face glows when I get it done. Lastly, EmSculpt: Jesus, EmSculpt sounds like it would be totally phony but it isn’t. After 2 of 4 sessions, my Pilates instructor was amazed at how much stronger my core was from one Thursday to the following Tuesday. Like it would’ve taken me at least six months of intense and sustained work to get my abdominal muscles to where two sessions of EmSculpt did. It’s legit magic.
I have been seeing Dr. Erickson for several years now and I could not recommend her more highly. I have had problems in the past with looking ‘surprised’ after Botox treatments and have not had that problem with her. Everything that she has done on my face has made it look ‘better’, but not ‘done’. I also had BBL and Moxie treatments in her office in the past year and now actually receive compliments on my skin. (I am 55.) I am definitely more ‘glowy’ and will re-do these in the future. Additionally, her staff is great. They are all very professional, warm and kind. (All of these adjectives are true for Dr. Erickson herself.) I have found my person in Chicago!
This scar is from a Bilobe flap which is typically used to repair a defect from a skin cancer removal. In my opinion, this scar needs both C02 and some filler to restore the normal contour. Resurfx will be a disappointment. Resurfx is better at rejuvenation and pore size reduction, but will not re-contour the nose. Quenby Erickson, DO, FAAD, FACMS Ericksondermatology.com
For this raised mole on the vermillion boarder, my recommendation would be to start with shave removal. When careful shave removal is performed, the raised aspect of the mole is removed and the normal anatomy is preserved. Pigment from the mole may sometimes recur and if that happens and bothers you and excision may be needed to remove the rest of the mole causing the regimentation. This is complicated in this particular location because it will leave a little line scar across the boarder of the lip which may always be somewhat visible.
Dear Realwomen1977 Thank you for providing such great photos of your concern. You have been given many differing opinions for what to do with your neck which can be confusing. I would suggest that none of them are wrong or bad. Anti-aging the neck often requires multiple modalities and many treatments, but significant progress can be made. From examining your photos I would like to break down the answer into a few categories starting with what I see as the main issue: 1. Loose skin- The main treatments I would recommend for this are Ultherapy with the 1.5 transducer and 8 or more weekly sessions of NuEra which is a non invasive radio frequency treatment. 2. Freckling/sun damage- IPL/ Forever young BBL 3. Submental fullness- 1-2 vials of kybella 4. Jawline sagging- 2 syringes of Voluma would make a nice effect along the jawline to smooth/lift the sagging.
It often takes up to two weeks for filler swelling to settle down. I would give it more time but also please be in touch with the doctor that did your injections. They may decide to give you some predisone to decrease the swelling more quickly.Dr. Quenby Erickson, FAAD
The lumps that you are pointing out in the photo seem quite small and superficial. I would recoomend returning to the doctor and inquiring about options to remove the lumps. They can sometimes be expressed by pricking them with a needle and pressing the gel out. Alternatively, It is also possible to use just a tiny amount of Hylanex to dissolve them. I don't think it is likely that they will resolve on their own at this point.Dr. Quenby Erickson, FAAD
