Not sure if my boobs will drop and fluff or if they'll always be flat underboob (Photos)

Breast implants drop by 3-8 weeks in most cases, depending on many factors. Your surgeon should give you certain activities and recommendations  to aid in this process. Its very individualized, and some patients take more work than others. Best wishes.

Thanks for your question and the photos. Congratulations on your surgery. Over the next 6 weeks the implants will likely drop to where you  will feel like they are in good position. Hang in there. I think you are going to have a great result. 

Good morning!Congrats on your augmentation!  I'm sure you will love your new breasts.It takes weeks for your breast to fully expand your tissues and drop to their proper location.  I know your are anxious and excited but all good things take time!Enjoy your new breasts!I hope this helps.

It's certainly early, if your tape is still on.  But yes, typically the implants drop over time to be in the correct position, which is more directly behind the nipples (in your case you seemed to have no ptosis starting out).  So, right now the implants are high.  Usually we'll do massaging.  Was it total submuscular, or sort of a combo (known as a dual plane)?  If totally under the muscle, then yes, that tends to make the implants ride up and you should follow your PS closely so that they take on the correct position.  I almost always do at leasts a dual plane I (there are 3 types), unless I'm going subglandular

Hi, Cierraeagee.  Congratulations on your surgery! As others have answered, it will take weeks to even months to see your final results, and everyone's progress can be quite different.  You had attractive breasts before surgery and went with a small implant, so the likelihood of having a very nice result is good.  The puffiness you're experiencing is probably swelling, and I suspect will resolve.  Your concerns of the implant sticking out more on the sides than straight out and the flat underboob may be due to expected initial tightness of your tissues that will improve as the swelling goes down and the tissues relax (hence the "drop and fluff"). However, the side fullness and less projection may be due to the implant style.  There are many strategies to help model your implant pocket and relax your tissues that your surgeon will be able to review with you.  Good luck, and I hope you achieve the results you were looking for!

When we see women for breast augmentation surgery we discuss the changes they should expect to see after surgery.  Typically in the first week after surgery the implants look a little high and the lower areas of the breasts may not be as rounded and shapely as desired.  The breasts don't feel right either.  There may be some numbness in the breast skin and nipple, although some women find their nipples are extra sensitive for a while.  Swelling slowly diminishes and during the fifth week the breasts usually begin to feel more normal.  The breasts typically look about like what the patient was hoping to see around 6 to 8 weeks after surgery.  By the end of three months the lower parts of the breasts have rounded out more and there is less fullness in the upper parts of the breasts.  We suggest to women that they don't go out and spend $80 on a bra until about 6 months after surgery, because there will be some subtle changes up until that time.  We have these discussions with our patients before the surgery ever takes place to help minimize the concerns and questions they would otherwise have right after surgery.  We encourage our patients to call us whenever they have questions, and hopefully your surgeon feels the same way.  If you are worried about what you are seeing or experiencing, call your surgeon's office.  I'm pretty sure they want to know about your concerns.

Thank you for your question. You are still very early post op. It takes 3-6 months for the implants to stretch out the pocket and settle. During that time the appearance will chance a lot. It is not unusual for the implants early on to loo a little flat under the breast because the tissue has not stretched out fully. Be patient and I think you will have a very nice result!

Best advice at this early stage is to be patient and allow at least 3 up to 6 months to see your final result.  265 cc implants are a nice conservative size and once enough time has passed for them to settle I think you will have a very nice result. Congratulations on your breast augmentation.  Her result is very normal for so early after the surgery.  It can take 6-8 weeks for the implants to drop and round out on the bottom.  Of course check with your surgeon ask about breast implant displacement exercises.  For more read below:
