I am so thankful to have found Dr. Kunkel and that he completed my surgery. He and his staff were wonderful to me. They were thorough and explained every step in order to prepare me and ease my fears. The surgical process at Baylor was excellent. There was minimal pain, and my recovery has been much easier than expected. I would say my pain level was never above a six. I am VERY pleased with the results and immediately felt relief from shoulder and back pain. Dr. Kunkel and his staff have been available to me throughout my recovery. I truly could not be happier with my experience.

Dr. Kunkel has performed 2 surgeries for me and I couldn't be happier. He is a kind, gentle man with excellent surgical skills. Dr. Kunkel and his staff have been great. They answered all of my questions and put me at ease about my procedure. I was disappointed initially when he recommended a lift with my implants, but after a few other consults I realized that he was right and was very comfortable with my decision to go with him. My results are exactly what I was looking for!

Dr Kelly Kunkel, in my strong opinion is the best plastic surgeon in the DFW area. He is extremely professional and informative. He is patient and will listen to any and all of your questions, and concerns. Not only is he wonderful, but all of his office staff are quite wonderful and extremely friendly. Not one moment are you ever uncomfortable or left feeling awkward. The consultation process is definitely one to write about. It is what sold me and I scheduled my surgery that very day. Most places will let you wear a bra with different size and types of implants. He has a sort of simulation factor. The ladies will take photos of your breasts and then load them into the system and you can actually virtually see what you would look like with different sizes and types of implants. The day of the surgery is just as easy as well, everything runs very smoothly and you do also meet with Dr Kunkel before the surgery. Prior to surgery Dr Kunkel and his staff will prepare you for all you need to know before, during and after the surgery. Everyone is very informative and makes sure that you are comfortable and left with no unanswered questions. I am a 48 year old cancer survivor who when diagnosed, opted for a double mastectomy. Dr. Kunkle has been a part of my treatment from the beginning. I appreciate his professionalism, his consideration of his patients needs and his reconstruction expertise. I am extremely happy with my results to date (tissue expander exchange to implants and nipple reconstruction). His staff is great to work with as well.

I had the breast lift with augmentation. My experience with dr. Kunkel has been wonderful. He is personable, knowledgeable, and helped me choose just the right procedures to achieve the results I wanted. I loved his staff.
