Bachelorette party post tummy tuck?

Thank you for your question!  I think that you would be able to take part in most of the activities at 3 weeks barring any complications.  Usually normal return to activity is 4-6 weeks.  I would recommend continuing to wear your abdominal binder and no dancing etc.  You still may have some swelling and soreness that can get worse if you over exert yourself.  I would ultimately discuss everything with your surgeon to get his input and advice!  Best of luck with everything!Dr. Tag

Thank you for your question. In general you should be able to attend the bachelorette party and participate fully in the less active festivities such as the comedy club. You will still likely be sore from the tummy tuck, especially if you are having a muscle repair, and may find it difficult to do any dancing.  Voice your concerns to your surgeon. They are in the best position to help advise you.

Thanks for your question and congratulations on the big decision to have a tummy tuck.  As others have said, every plastic surgeon will have his or her own protocols.  Their protocol may change if you have any post-operative problems (wound healing problems, etc).  At the end of the day, the best advice should come from your surgeon.  Best of luck to you.
