I am 5 days post TT and lipo. I feel dizzy and lightheaded. Is this normal?

My head feels funny like am in a fog. Am taking oxcycodone n ibuprofen. I feel dizzy n light headed. Lost apperire. A little upset stomach. The pain is bearable on a case of 1 to 10.10 being real bad am abt a 3. I called my Surgeon he says to increase my fluids. My head feels spacey. I just hate this feeling. Like am gonna pass out or die. Which has I creased my anxiety. Is this normal.

Your symptoms are not typical five days after a tummy tuck.   It could simply be related narcotic pain medication or mild dehydration, however you need to see your surgeon for a more thorough evaluation.  Your symptoms could also be due to anemia from blood loss.  He/she needs to evaluate your vital signs.  A lab test to determine your blood count is also indicated.  Best wishes to you!

Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear of your symptoms.  Due to the severity of your issues I would recommend seeing your surgeon for an in-person examination.  It would be important to rule out any health issues after surgery, such as blood loss, that may be accounting for your current feelings of anxiety.  Best wishes.
