I’m on my second day out of surgery and the results I saw today in his office looked amazing . My neck is smooth and my jawline is back. I am still swollen so the final results I hope are as good as what I see today. Really no pain, the hardest thing is sleeping at a 45 degree angle on my back, with the right amount of pillows it’s not so bad. They did blood tests and an EKG beforehand and had me off of all herbs and most vitamins as well. Here are pictures of day one and two. I didn’t want to do any more than the lower face and neck as I wanted to keep it simple. I plan to do something to smooth down some fine lines later but for me this was enough on one day. The surgery lasted 4 hours as he predicted. Great nurses and receptionist. Two years ago I had a facetite procedure in Lake Oswego and it was a disaster. This is 180 degrees opposite. Now I can get back to my work taking people on Travel Photography with Purpose Journeys. I feel confident when I like how I look and it makes me a better leader.
Dr. Daniel is extraordinary! I had my surgery on the 12th, I'm 15 days post op and loving the results I'm seeing. During my consultation, Dr. Daniel answered all my questions, gave me his professional opinion of the procedures that would best fit my desired results and explained where scar placement would be. The day of surgery was hands down the best experience I've ever had with surgery. I have had 4 c-sections and multiple other surgeries. Chase Garden Surgery Center has a personable staff leaving you feel at easy before your big transformation. Updated on 28 Jul 2022: I wanted to updated everyone on all the procedures I had done. Dr. Daniel performed 3 procedures at once in roughly 4.5 hours. I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair, full back lipo and hip lipo. Total cost with Dr. fees, facility, Rx's and anesthesia was $16,462.95. There was a discount for performing multiple procedures at one time. The pics I've posted are 15 days post op, but I wasn't able to get a pic of my back myself. The first week, I had to wear my binder 24/7 and didn't bother taking any pictures because I couldn't see the results. Unfortunately, I didn't take any before photos because I couldn't stand to look at myself naked! Updated on 29 Jul 2022: I am 17 days post op and finally feeling more like my old self! The second and third day post op was the most painful. Until a person has had a surgery that repairs the abdominal muscles such as a Tummy Tuck, you don't realize how much your core muscles are engaged with every movement you make. I was expecting recovery to be similar to my c-sections, but it doesn't even compare. It hurt to wipe myself; I had to get into a half squatting/standing position to be able to reach without straining. I used a walker for about a week to get around the house to help with stability. Recliners are going to be your friend. If you have an automatic recliner or can borrow one from a grandparent, that will help you greatly. It is hard to get out of the recliner without engaging your core. So, one that can automatically lift you up would be preferable. Otherwise, you will definitely want someone around to help you in and out of the recliner. My drains hurt and burned at the site of entry. I was told that my nerves were overly "excited" because of the work that had just been done. Once they were out, I felt much better. I was able to get two of the three drains out day 7 post op and the last one on day 9. Once they were removed, I had some pubic swelling. This lasted for several days. I was told this often happens after drains are taken out and fluid settles with gravity. I was finally able to take a shower day 11. After the shower, I often felt sweaty, light headed and nauseous. I would need to take one of my antinausea meds before I would feel better. When I talked with the Dr. office, I was told this is common as well because the binders have just been taken off and in combination with hot water can make a person feel ill. The last few days I have been doing more around the house. Originally, I took two weeks off of work, but then I ended up taking an additional week off. I plan on going back this Monday. I have a desk job, but my desk is a sit/stand desk without the option to lower it to the standard ADA level. So, I'm a little nervous about getting into my chair. I get pretty tired and swollen after doing what little I do around the house. So, we will see how it goes.
Hands down best staff and amazing doctor! The staff is so helpful and treat their patients so wonderfully. They are extremely knowledgeable and always happy to answer any questions. If I could give more stars I would!!!
After Having 2 9lb babies and breast feeding them for 18 month each my body was NOT in great shape. After meeting Dr. Daniel I knew he was the Doctor for me, he listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I asked for. I LOVE MY RESULTS!!! He truly is an artist! I would 100% go to him again, and recommend him highly. Updated on 17 Jul 2019: 7 months post mommy makeover and my life has changed so much. I'm confident in my own skin again! It has been so long! I am so happy with my new body! I get so many compliments on how natural my breasts look. My belly button is so cute and small. My scar is healing so well, you can hardly see them.
Dr. Daniel did an amazing job on my tummy tuck, in fact better than I ever dreamed. His staff and surgery center really cared about my health and well being. I feel I can't thank Dr. Daniel enough, this truly has changed my life.
I’m on day 4 after a breast aug. a little uncomfortable and sore but pain has been kept down to a 1. I live in Dallas, Texas but had surgery in Eugene due to recovery time I wanted to be home with family. (Born and raised in Eugene). I chose Dr. Daniel because I’ve had a couple friends go to him for breast aug. I wanted to wait to write a review but so far I’ve had a great experience so here it goes. Leading up to my consult I wasn’t even sure exactly what I wanted, but After I left the office and speaking with dr Daniel and his assistant I was 90% ready for surgery and 90% sure of the size and look I was going for. I’ve never had surgery/anesthesia before so I was pretty nervous. Everyone I spoke to leading up to being knocked out made me feel very comfortable. I really kinda just let dr. Daniel do his thing in regards to size as long as he knew the look I wanted. I would say I was an A cup before hand. I have a follow up in 2 days but to my knowledge they used 425cc bags and filled one up to 450 and the other up to 460. I’m assuming when all is healed and swelling is gone I will be a D cup. I’m very happy with results so far. I’ve had personal texts and calls from the dr himself and lindy, his assistant . A nurse from the surgery center has followed up as well. I’ve texted lindy any time I’ve had a question as well as emails to Dana, getting quick responses. Only thing i had a slight issue with was my surgery time getting moved around a couple times leading up to the actually day. Other than that I appreciate this team so much and hope to have a continued easy and quick recovery! Updated on 26 Sep 2018: Here is a Couple before pics. I clearly didn’t have much. I probably was an A. I never really wore bras just cause I didn’t need to. I have a big lower half so just wanted to be even !!! I’m 5 days post opp so I will add those pics too! Updated on 26 Sep 2018: I am now five days post opp! I have a follow up tomorrow before I fly home to Dallas . Here are the dream boobs I gave the doctor. He said he had to do 450cc to get them to this size. I wasn’t reallly prepared to be this big ! But I’m actually excited for it. Ready for swelling to go down! These photos of me are from yesterday.
Dr. Daniel was very personable, he listened to the goals I had and was quite honest about what was achievable. His staff were knowledgable, accessible and excited for me. My results are still early in the stage of healing but I couldnt be more pleased with the symmetry, sizing and shape. AND I finally have cleavage!
So , I'm going to be short and not so sweet. Had Dow implants when I was 25...."5th anniversary present". 4 years later Hubby ran off with a flat-chested nympho who was supposed to be my best friend. RIGHT!!! They were ok for a while, but everybody just wanted me to model Tshirts and had no love for me as a person. About 10 years in, I was not happy. Hubby #2 abused me, both verbally and physically. That lasted less than a year. Then I met the love of my life. 29 years now and I know it is cliche but is truly my best friend and has blessed me with a son and many years of happiness. When we got married I told him of my implants and he said that it must have been important to me at the time. I never felt comfortable with them and actually avoided any attention he paid to them. I hated them!!! I felt so fake!! Then, they started to capsulize and I had two hard lumps. I hated to hug anyone because I felt like I had two rocks in my chest. Fast forward to this year when I knew something was wrong when I felt the left one getting softer again and a bulge out to the side. I had a mammogram and an ultrasound and indeed I had a rupture. OK, the radiologist said I needed to get them out. YESSSSS! Of course I was too late to get any money from the Dow settlement and my implant Dr. is probably dead as he was old when I got them. After totally ignoring them for 42 years YES, 42 years!! they had to come out and I told my Hubby that needed to happen. I had to take $ out of my IRA to do it but I know I won't regret it. I am done! My surgery is in 2 days and it can't be too soon for me. I'm a little stressed as I don't know what I will look like after 42 years, but I don't really care. Just want them out! Hope to keep this updated as I go through the process. So happy I found this site so I know I am not alone in this dilemma. Updated on 25 May 2017: I'm ready! The past 3 weeks since my consult have just dragged by. Thanks to this site, I don't feel so alone about doing this. I will talk to the anesthesiologist this evening and try to sleep so I can be in the surgery center by 8:30 am . I will have a general as the Dr thinks the surgery may run into about 2 hours. After all he has to scrape away 42 years! I am a little anxious about the results, but I have seen amazing transformations on this site. I want my health back and old squishy boobs so I can hug my hubby, my son, daughter -in- law and two little grandsons as tight as I want without hard rocks in my chest. I have wanted to do this for a long time, just didn't have the means to do it. Now, since i am ruptured, I had to take $ out of my IRA to do this but I think it will definitely be worth it. I am going to take a before pic tomorrow morning after my shower. Then we will go from there. wish me luck! Updated on 27 May 2017: My surgery was yesterday May 26. We had a nice surprise when Dr Daniel discovered that the left side (which showed the rupture in the ultrasound) was not really ruptured but only deformed within the capsule so we didn't have any loose silicone to search out. They came out nicely. The staff at the surgery center could not have been any nicer or more comforting. I had a general and felt no ill effects at all. Smooth as silk. And nice surprise, when I was in recovery I received a beautiful little vase of cut flowers from Dr. Daniel and his staff. I slept for a little while when my Hubby brought me home but not a whole lot during the night. I can't believe they're really gone after 42 years!!!!!!! I was able to eat steak and baked potato and salad for dinner last night. Boy that tasted great! I am so lucky that I don't suffer any effects from anesthesia whatsoever. I have been drinking lots and was still awake at 2 a.m. so and I made a scrambled egg and tomato sandwich. Yummm I feel absolutely wonderful!! My Hubby has to keep telling me to take it easy. I want to jump for joy! I am squished in a very tight wrap so I have no idea what I am like. I do have cleavage out of the top of the wrap, but that could be all. Don't care. I have two drainage tubes and was up measuring and emptying about every 2 hrs. but I am well within tolerance and it has slacked off this morning. I am posting a photo of pre-op and one post op this morning with wraps and drains. I want to thank everyone on this site for all the support. Maybe this (feeling younger already), old, lady can give a little help to all you gals who are ready to be you again. I will keep posting as I go through the journey to find my real self again. Updated on 29 May 2017: Well, I am 3 days post and am feeling great. The lower back pain I've had for years is gone. The pain in my left armpit is gone. Getting kind of tired of the drains , but nothing too bad. I can tell if I am doing something that I shouldn't be doing because it HURTS! Have post op on Thursday. Hope I can get the drains out and maybe a bra instead of this wrap. It is pretty tight. Anxious to see How much of "me" is left. Hubby is very supportive which is a great help. Will keep updating. Updated on 31 May 2017: I think I have trying to do too much the past few days. Having pain in the drain holes right in the middle of my armpit! They are a little bit red where the tube comes out of the armpit so might be getting a small infection. I am taking augmentin every 12 hours, so I should be OK. I have my post op tomorrow so I hope the drains can come out. Other than that, I am feeling great. I think I still have some boobies down there...we will see soon. Updated on 10 Jun 2017: Hi Girls. Just thought that I needed to update. 2wks out and I am so ecstatic that I chose to do this. I still can hardly believe they are finally gone! 42 years of stress gone in a few hours!! I am feeling almost back to normal. Still twinges of pain now and then , but for the most part, I am feeling great! I am posting a pic of post 9 days. Waiting for them to "fluff" but overall I am pleased that I have boobies that are still there. My hubby has been so supportive and said that I didn't need those things in the first place. Updated on 11 Jun 2017: Took a LONG shower this morning and the tapes over the incision sites loosened up so I took them off. The scars aren't bad and I seem to be healing nicely. Still pretty tender but looking better than I expected. I attribute my success in part to the great vitamins the PS started me on 2 weeks before my surgery. They are by VitaMedica and consist of morning and evening taken with food. Then 3 days before surgery I started taking bromelain with quercetin. After surgery i took arnica montana. I didn't do to well with the arnica as it gave me creepy legs at night. I am still taking the others at a lower dose. I am healing unexpectedly fast and easy. Will keep all you wonderful gals updated. Updated on 17 Jun 2017: Well I have a great deal of satisfaction with myself for doing this. I took some pics this morning after my shower and I look more like what I expected. Left is bigger than the right, but that was the one with the misshapen implant that we thought was ruptured. The right is a little bit pruney but i'm hoping it will" fluff' I jiggled and bounced in the mirror. Haven't jiggled in 42 years. It was GREAT to see. I will keep you gals posted. Think freedom rocks!! Updated on 18 Jul 2017: Hi girls, I am about 7 weeks out and doing well. Not a whole lot of fluffing but I feel tingles and some small bits of pain every now and then. I'm sure I am still healing inside. So glad I did this. I am thankful every day that they are gone. The best thing are the real squishy hugs that I can now give to all the special people in my life. Real hugs after 42 years are amazing. Anyone considering explant should know how great it is to be real again. WOO HOO! Updated on 5 Aug 2017: I woke up this morning in bed on my stomach!!! I remember ( pre implant days) always liking to sleep on my stomach with my hands under the pillow. Boy that was sure a long time ago( 42 years)!! I was so thrilled to do that again. I am about 10 weeks out from my surgery. No real changes in appearance. Still kind of pruney when I raise my arms and not a lot of fluffing. Still ecstatic that I got them out!! Love wearing camisoles and no bra. Loving hugs, and loving myself, and loving the way clothes fit. A few tingles now and then but healing well . Scars are disappearing and are feeling better. Using coconut oil on them and it is working. Will keep updates coming. They seem to be all good. Thanks to all of you on this site. It is a great help on this journey. Hugs to all!!!.
I wanted to get my tummy back. I worked out everyday and still had lots of loose skin and large diastis. It was very depressing. I also had small flat droopy breast from breastfeeding my three small children. So far I'm pleased with the results. My belly looks much flatter and my breasts are very full and flattering. I am looking forward to the final result. Updated on 25 May 2016: Feeling pretty good. Still sleeping in the recliner. Down to only a half pain med twice per day. Boobs are looking pretty good. Hoping they'll soften real soon. Still have swelling in the tummy. Can't wait for that to go away! Updated on 26 May 2016: Hey Everyone! Tomorrow will be two weeks since my surgery and I'm starting to be able to do more and more. I hate all the stiffness and and soreness as I'm usually a very active person and it's hard for me to slow down. Is it normal to still have swelling in the boobs? I know the tummy tuck is gonna take longer, just wondering if others still have swollen boobs after two weeks. My implants are under the muscle so I know that also take longer to heal. Yesterday was a big day for me. We drove a hundred miles each way to visit my sister, in the hospital, who just given birth. I still walked slightly hunched in the hospital and noticed lots of tightening when I was on my feet very long. I was afraid I might have overdone it when I got home last night as everything was sore and my skin felt raw. But I got up this morning, and, other than a tight back, (still sleeping in the recliner) and sore boobs, I felt pretty good. I have family coming this weekend so I hope I feel good and don't overdue. I always overdid myself after procedures in the past, (c-section and laparoscopy) and this time I'm determined to take it easy and heal right! I would love to be feeling great by mid June. We have a family reunion just after that time and my daughter will be out of school by then. That will be four weeks post surgery for me, so fingers crossed! I am looking forward to softer boobs and to being able to work out again! I've gained five pounds due to eating foods others prepare for me instead of eating the way I normally do and due to not exercising. Not too worried, just don't want to gain any more. My TT incision is looking pretty good. I was pretty scared if it at first. My PS says to leave the tape in until it comes off on its own. The tape is starting to come off and it looks better than I had guessed it would. I haven't seen my breast incisions yet, as the tape is staying on them quite well. That's all I have to report for now. I will try to get more pictures in a couple days. Also, I am needing another bra. My surgical bra is no longer confortable. Can anyone recommend a good one? I'm home a lot so an at home type bra that is great for healing would be ideal! Updated on 26 May 2016: Starting to feel nit picky. Should my boobs be this far apart? Maybe they'll look better after they drop? I do love how low my incision is. I had two other scars from previous surgeries that he removed by making it so low. Updated on 26 May 2016: Oops, I meant thirteen days after surgery. Updated on 27 May 2016: Two weeks since my surgery and things are looking up. I slept in my own bed last night instead of the recliner and, for the first time in two weeks, woke up without back pain. Yay! I'm getting more and more flexibility in my arms. I can reach higher things and unload the dishwasher. I've started taking ibuprofen for the swelling and it feels better than taking the perceset. My boobs are still pretty sore. I wish that would go away. Even brushing past them hurts as my skin feels raw from wearing a bra all the time. I think the selling has lessened a bit in my abdomen. I haven't measured or anything but it feels less puffy under my binder. Updated on 3 Jun 2016: Three weeks post op today! It feels so good to say that. I'm getting better day by day. I'm still a little hunched and bending, stretching, and driving is kind of uncomfortable but I believe it's getting easier. I'm still anxiously awaiting seeing my tummy results. Still pretty swollen... I need to eat better. It's hard because I'm not working out so I don't feel real motivated to eat clean. My boobs are good. I am sort of wondering if I should've went above the muscle as they are still a tiny bit droopy near the nipple where the implant doesn't completely fill them out. I don't think it's real noticeable, I can just tell when I'm massaging them. I sort of wish I had more upper pole fullness as well as more cleavage. They're very full on the sides and I don't mind that at all. I guess I'm just being picky. I thought I wanted them to look natural and they really do. But now that I've seen more pictures, I realize that I like the look of the more round and "done" breasts. I'm still glad I did it and my hubby definitely loves them so that's all good. I'm doing more everyday but I still get sore and swollen especially in the evenings and picking things up off the floor is frustrating. I'll get there soon though, I just know it! My belly often gets tight and I have to walk real slow. I see my PS on Thursday and I'm hoping he will tell me it's okay to switch to a more flattering compression garment. I'll be happy to say goodbye to this bulky Velcro wrap. Hope everyone is healing well! Until next time!!! : ) Updated on 6 Jun 2016: Today was a god day. I am feeling much better about my new body. I'm really loving my boobs. Trying on all the shirts in my closet has been fun. I've started eating better and it's made a difference in how I feel. My kids are happy to have their mom feeling better. I am excited to see what my PS thinks of my results. So far my incisions seem to be healing nicely. The last of the steri strips finally came off my TT incision. I haven't seen my breast incisions yet, as my steri strips under my breasts are still in place. I'm getting more upright but still a little slouched. And in still sleeping in my recliner. I can sleep in bed but it bothers me to not be able to roll over on my side, so for now, the recliner works.
Best thing ever. Dr. Daniel did a great job. No pain at all after surgery. Looks natural. Follow-up was great and I had all my questions answered. If I knew it would make this much of a difference, I would have had this procedure 15 years ago! I read how you are more confident etc etc and I did not get it. Trust me, it is all true.
Pregnancy and motherhood forever change a body, but just because you can't get your exact pre-baby breasts back doesn't mean you can achieve a lifted, more youthful look. A breast lift with a small breast reduction could help you achieve the results you're looking for and feel more comfortable in your post baby body. Schedule a consultation with an experienced, qualified plastic surgeon to discuss your options for a reduction/lift combination surgery and what results you can reasonably expect.
The beauty of CoolSculpting is its precision. Only the area targeted by the CoolSculpting application will be impacted by cryolipolysis fat removal. Anything else will remain untouched. CoolSculpting, more than anything, is a body contouring procedure. It may be the case that only treating your lower abdomen may create a more pleasing contour that will achieve the shape you're looking for. If you're unsure of your current practitioner's plans, it's always a good bet to seek a second opinion and schedule a consultation at another office.
Congratulations on your new baby! While it's tempting to want to dive right into regaining your pre-baby body, you will need at least 6 months to heal after childbirth before you can consider having a mommy makeover. Additionally, if you've decided to breastfeed, you will need to wait at least 6 months after finishing breastfeeding before you can be considered a candidate. Those 6 months will go fast. In the meantime, focus on your mental and physical health in preparation for your mommy makeover.
It's recommended that the best candidates for a mommy makeover be at or near their goal weight for surgery. This helps to determine what surgeries would be most beneficial for you and will get you closer to your ideal figure after surgery. It's also important that a mommy makeover candidate be in good overall health, physically and mentally. It may be in your best interest to focus on your health and meeting your goals through diet and exercise before you consider having a mommy makeover.
