I had a breast lift in February of 2020 with Dr. Solomon and I am so happy with my results! Other surgeons I consulted with recommended a lift with implants but already being a size D I was hesitant that I needed to be larger. Dr. Solomon offered a technique he does that made me have the more lifted look of an implant versus a tear drop shape. I love my results. Dr. Solomon will spend the time to discuss any concerns with you. His work is very detailed and my scarring is minimal.
I was 100% confident in my decision to invest in myself and get a breast augmentation, however, I was also 100% sure I would not settle for anything but the very best in doctors. After all, this was the very first plastic surgery procedure I had ever decided to do and this was my opportunity to find the best doctor who could help me feel even more confident in my skin. I found Dr. Solomon online when researching for the best plastic surgeons in Dallas. Before I had found him, I thought I had to fly to another state and spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on travel and hotels just to get the best experience AND procedure. I couldn't have been more wrong! After reviewing his work, approach, and seeing his before and afters online, I knew I had to set up a consultation. From the first phone call discussion with his nurse to the very first visit with Dr Solomon, I had zero doubts that he was the BEST of the BEST. He is incredibly professional, friendly, detailed and knowledgeable. He wanted to understand the results I was searching for while also being honest with me on what he thought would look best with my lifestyle and form. He was incredibly thorough and prompt in answering any questions I had before the surgery; I felt like I could contact his office anytime and get the answers I needed. The day of surgery I was treated like I was the most important patient he had and after my surgery both Dr Solomon and the staff were efficient in following up with me and being available for any post-op questions and appointments I had. Even the nurses who helped me get set up for surgery raved about his work and technique, and they had many different surgeons in that medical center. His work is meticulous and he is a perfectionist. He specializes in a natural look with the least chances of any complications. I am so happy with my decision to go to him, he has made this the easiest BIG decision I have ever made. Even my sister, who attended my post-opp appointment, and boyfriend, who was with me the day of surgery, got the chance to meet with him and were incredibly impressed with his knowledge and detail. I would recommend him to absolutely anyone.
After having had two previous facial procedures in 2002 and 2012 with a well-known doctor in Plano, I continued to be dissatisfied with my lower face, jaw, and neck. Dr. Solomon performed a deep plane face lift in Sherman in March. I am extremely happy with the results! Dr. Solomon is extraordinarily professional, attentive, kind, and capable. Do I look 70? No way! I have no complaints and highly recommend him!
In December 2016, I had upper & lower eyelid surgery performed by Dr. Solomon (Dallas, Texas). I am very hard to please and I have extremely high expectations so I spent some time researching his background, education, etc. I also had set up consultations with 2 other plastic surgeons, as I wanted to make sure I found the best doctor for my procedure. After meeting with Dr. Solomon, I left his office knowing that he was the right doctor, I canceled the other two appointments. I never felt rushed or pressured, he listened & answered the questions from my very long list! He was very upfront about end results vs. expectations. He explained in great detail what I would experience after the surgery, I felt very comfortable and safe under his care. I am 55 years of age and my eyes truly look 10 years younger! Would I do I use him again? Absolutely, without a doubt.
An excellent physician, I can't thank Dr. Solomon enough for the amazing job he did! I choose him for my tummy tuck procedure and I love the results!! My scar is very low and my abdomen is super tight! Dr. Solomon is a very skilled and caring doctor would recommend him to anyone who is thinking about plastic surgery.
I am a healthy, fit, childless 48 year old woman. Puberty graced me with large breasts then I became overweight during my adult life. I'm 5'4 with a medium frame and at my heaviest hit 200 lbs. I lost and regained significant amounts (30+ lbs) probably 3-4 times in my life. My most dramatic weight loss came after an acute illness. Dropped 50 lbs in 2 months and in my late 30's. My skin had lost the ability to shrink and despite never breast feeding, was left was a couple of pretty droopy breasts. My fitness levels have steadily increased which gave me nice muscle tone but burned up the remaining soft tissue in my torso. My search for the right doc started over a year ago. I looked hard for a couple of months and then my busy schedule put an end to it. This doctor, the time off work, the surgery opening, truly just lined up and happened. Very little effort on my part and I couldn't be happier. Srsly, folks, I went in for the consult and a week later was in surgery. Very unusual all the way around. I knew he was the right doc during the consult. I went with my gut and hopefully asked, "Any chance we could get this done by the end of the year?" They'd just had a cancellation that morning for this week. I booked it, paid for it and off we went. Also, as luck would have it, I'd just had a complete physical done with another doc. Voila, pre-op labs, ready to go. Why no implant: My research had convinced me that to achieve the lovely shape and upper pole fullness I sought I'd have to get an implant. I considered no implant but thought, "If I'm going to do this better do it right" I did not want larger breasts. I'm a nice C and happy right where I am. I just didn't believe I could get the fullness w/o an implant. Dr. Solomon and I talked extensively about what I could realistically expect with no implant and with. This is why I knew he was the right doc. No BS. The other consult I'd had didn't even mention the possibility of no implant. Middle aged with droopy boobs? I was only offered one option. Dr. Solomon took the time to listen to ME. I'm unusual that I didn't want larger breasts. Been there, done that. Pro's to no impant: half the recovery time. Yes, it's a more extensive and difficult surgery but there is no "muscle work" All soft tissue. Nipple sensation retained. No invading the chest wall and creating a cavity for an implant. No foreign body. No worries about scar tissue forming around implant. Basically, all the worries that come along with an implant are gone. I am fortunate that I had enough volume left that I could get a nice result with no implant. Again, if I'd wanted larger breasts, I would have had to get an implant. The procedure was more expensive but that is because the doc had to spend much more time in the OR than a simple implant placement. It takes a skilled surgeon to get a nice shape without relying on an implant. This is another thing about Dr. Solomon. He truly is a master at doing these. No less than 3 OR nurses came to me while in the surgery center to tell me how lucky I was to have him and what a beautiful job he's done on every patient there but on me, as well. After looking at several pictures and ensuring that I understood fully what I could expect with a lift and no implant, I made the decision to move forward. I'm glad it went so fast cuz I had very little opportunity to get nervous. Updated on 8 Jan 2017: The pics are a week and a day post op but I'm writing this at almost 3 weeks. Healing is going very well. This is my first surgery so I had no real idea of what to expect. Surprises: Skin heals at it's own rate. I felt back to normal at day 8 and had a very hard time understanding that this wasn't a pain tolerance thing it was a "be mindful of your incisions" kind of thing. So, even though I felt perfectly capable of doing anything and everything I wanted, I need to be careful. I wasn't as careful as I should have been and caused some bruising. I torqued the incisions pretty well a few times and caused some soreness. I'm fortunate my dumb butt didn't rip anything. God forbid. I was released to all activity at week 3 due to my excellent recovery. My only restriction is no pectoral work (weight lifting, push ups) for the full 4 weeks and no underwire bra for 3 months. I am to start using silicone sheets at week 3 1/2. All tape is to come off at week 3, let 'em breathe for a few days then silicone sheets for optimal healing. I'll update with week 4 pics since all the tape will be off and all the scars will be new. I cannot say this enough: I am so SO pleased with my result. Even at this stage. The girls are full, nicely shaped, and beat my wildest expectations. Again.. NO IMPLANT. Woo-hoo! Dr. Solomon is a genius. Updated on 9 Apr 2017: Like most love affairs the honeymoon period has come to an end and I'm able to see my new boobies with clear eyes. I still love them. Really. With all swelling gone as well as some settling of the breast tissue I lost some volume and a bit of the upper pole fullness an implant would have given me. However, I still love them. They are not the stereotypical large, full breast. And that's just fine. They are mine, proportionate, age appropriate, and lovely. Pro's: No implant and all the trouble that goes along with having an implant. Fast healing, no foreign body, much less invasive surgery. Natural look and feel All my tissue. Going braless!! Omg, the freedom. I can't wait for summer and tank tops and sun dresses and a new bikini! Cons: Lack fullness and upper pole fullness Loss of size. I'm went from a full C to a full B. My scars would probably heal more quickly and nicely if I had stuck to using the Scar Away strips. However, to keep them in place while you sleep that means you have to keep them covered. I slept in a light sports bra. That results in the girls being covered 24 hours a day. After being in a compression bra and the awful no underwire bra for so long I wasn't up to it. I loved the freedom and feel of sleeping with them free too much. They don't bother me mostly because, and this is so silly, I am looking down at my breasts usually, not in the mirror, so I don't really see them that much. I went to an all naked spa a couple of week ago for the girls first public outing. So nice to lean over and not feel like I'm ready to be milked or pull it out from an armpit. Same for sleeping! I can lie on my back and no slide down the side. It's a hundred little things. Nipples still dead. Left is beginning to come back but the sensation is a feeling of being touched not the "hubba hubba" feeling I miss so much. I call them my turbo buttons for a reason. I hope to regain full sensation. *fingers crossed* PS said a year. Tick, tock! It's interesting... they both respond to touch and become erect but I can't feel it. Odd to watch and not have the sensation. Having small, perky nipples is another fantasy fulfilled. I was self conscious of my large nipples for my entire adult life. Lymph nodes. No one told me this might happen. About a month ago the lymph nodes in both axilla (armpits) enlarged and got tender and sore as hell. No bueno and it scared the crap out of me. They responded very well to warm compresses but popped back up a couple of weeks later but not as bad. I happened to be in for my annual well woman and my gyne said it was all part of the healing process and that yes, it was lymphatics building new routes. If you look at a diagram of the lymphatic system you will see that this surgery cuts through several. Anyway, heads up. My PS told me at my 3 month follow up that it would take a year and a half to heal fully. !! I didn't really believe him. I do now.
My experience at Dr. Solomon office was amazing. Friendly & attentive staff. Amazing office. Dr. Solomon was detailed & precise. Addressed all of my concerns and made me feel really comfortable!!!!!!!
From the first visit Dr Solomon was friendly and helpful and very detailed in the consultation. He asked me several questions about the results I wanted and was very honest by giving me his opinion. He was explaining what my options. I did not have any concerns about what decision he would have to make. After my surgery Dr Solomon and the staff were very responsive to all my questions. The staff was professional and treated me like had been going to them for years. I drove to Dallas from Austin to see Dr Solomon and I would recommend him to anyone.
After 4 c-sections and years of breast feeding I was in need of some maintenance. I was not able to exercise the protruding tummy away. I had muscle atrophy and needed excess tissue removed and my abdominal muscles reattached. Further, my breasts had begun to sag and lose fullness. I was in need of a tummy tuck and a breast lift. I had the tummy tuck and saw immediate results. I decided to have breast augmentation rather than a full lift at this time. I couldn't be more pleased with my breasts and I look forward to a full lift later in life. My only regret is that I did not do my Mommy makeover sooner!
Outstanding experience with Dr. Solomon and his office staff. It is apparent that Dr. Solomon has exacting standards. I felt confidence in his skills from the initial consultation to my final visit. The results of the surgery are amazing. Highly recommend Dr. Solomon for breast augmentation procedures.
The way tummy tucks are done traditionally, there is a good chance that the portion of skin below the gall bladder scar can have decreased blood flow and die. Traditionally, a cut is made low in the abdomen and the skin and fat is undermined/undercut all the way to the rib cage (almost to just below the breast area). You can now imagine how the blood flow to the lowest part of the skin near the initial cut has to travel a long way through the elevated skin and fat as opposed to it coming from just beneath it when it was attached to the abdomen (before the surgeon made the incision and undermined it). In the area of the GB scar, there is now a scar impeding blood flow from a up to down direction. I do my tummy tucks in a very different fashion. I use liposuction to extensively contour the abdomen and release the skin and fat in such a way that most of the blood vessels are still attached to the abdominal wall. Hence I am able to extensively liposuction the abdomen and do the procedure in someone like your self without compromise to the blood flow.
Your doctor is right in that taking too much skin off will leave you with a less youthful appearance. however, since you don't have any photos, it is very hard to give a definite answer.
Based on the scar and description of the area nothing short of a tummy tuck will help. No other procedure can removed the scar; with a tummy tuck, the scar is removed and substituted with a low transverse scar that hides well within the bikini line.
Only fool proof way to rule out a seroma is to do an ultrasound. This is typically not done because in most cases, a seroma is obvious on clinical exam. Have your doctor evaluate you and if there is doubt get an ultrasound of the abdominal wall.
Based on the photos, you have three problems; 1. Excess skin 2. More than the desired amount of fat over the central abdomen 3. Loss of muscle tone.Only a tummy tuck with abdominal liposuction will address all these issues. Liposuction alone will decrease the fat to some extent but leave you with excess skin and an unchanged muscle structure with the resulting outward bulge. Regarding the breasts, an implant alone may be enough when done with a dual plane augmentation and a larger implant can be placed on the smaller side. A detailed exam is needed before a definite plan.
