Is my forehead too small? If so, is there a surgery I can get to make it bigger? (photos)

I agree with the other poster that your forehead is perfect as it is. Unfortunately those opinions will not prevent you from harming yourself with inappropriate  facial surgery supplied by our colleagues who may be prepared to offer you surgery. I personally think that forehead surgery and virtually any surgery has the potential to harm your facial aesthetics. That is why there should be a good reason to undertake surgery. The real question here is how many hour a day to you think about having forehead surgery. If you spend many hours day thinking about this and avoid social and work situation because of concerns about your appearance, you may have body dysmorphic disorder. I am not sure that people with BDD can be cured of these thoughts but therapy does bring insight which is helpful. If this sounds like you, consider working with a psychiatrist or psychologist regarding these thoughts.

Thank you for your question.   The size of your forehead can be measured as thirds in your face being the upper third form the hairline to the radix of the nose and the radix of the nose to the tip of the noses and  from the tip of the nose to the chin.    There is no perfect mathematics for this but my impression is that you are fine as you age it will get larger.

Based on these photos it is very hard to decide whether you need any surgery in the forehead/hairline area? Only on the basis of in person evaluation and discussion about your goals one could give you a more detailed advise. In person consultation with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon is recommended. Good luck.

The short answer to this is no. It is slightly smaller than the average but it is not worth correcting. However there is a procedure that I do for patients who are too small.  I invented the irregular trichophytic hairline incision and hairline lowering procedure more than 40 years ago. I’ve done hundreds if not more than 1000 at this time. Other surgeons who don’t do this procedure routinely have their built in bias because they don’t see the results of excellent surgery to raise the hairline and have inserted there bias into these answers. The bottom line is NO surgery for you. 

Personally I think your forehead is just fine, there are many women with high hairlines that would want your forehead. That said, there are 2 ways to raise a hairline. You can get electrolysis and remove a strip of hair, or get a coronal forehead lift which raises the hairline. 
But you look great, quit stressing!!

The flatness of your forehead can be augmented with a custom forehead implant placed through a small scalp incision placed behind your hairline. What you want to achieve is greater forehead convexity particularly in the central forehead.
