Rhinoplasty is one of the most popular procedures among my Beverly Hills patients. I emphasize facial aesthetics that are consistent with one’s ethnic background, using a different technique on my Asian rhinoplasty patients than Caucasian patients. This ensures that each patient's new nose looks natural and balanced with the rest of their facial features.
Some people’s bodies are not compatible with foreign substances such as silicone, so when it comes to nose jobs, I prefer to use the patient’s own all-natural tissue, such as ear or septal cartilage. This reduces the risk that the patient will reject the implant. For patients who are wanting a more dramatic rhinoplasty transformation, I use rib cartilage to reconstruct the nose. It takes an incredible amount of skill to perform rhinoplasty using this method.

Eyelid Enhancement

I specialize in upper eyelid surgery at my Beverly Hills practice. Recognized as a leader in the field of blepharoplasty, I have been fellowship-trained in eyelid surgery techniques. Asian eyelid surgery can be performed in two ways: with an incision and without one. The type of eyelid surgery I perform on a routine basis is anchor eyelid surgery, an incisional method that gives eyes a refreshed, invigorated appearance. Also known as Asian double eyelid surgery, it involves an incision that creates an eyelid crease. My unique method attaches the skin to a deeper area of the eyelid than most surgeons do, which results in a smoother lid fold, and a brighter, more attractively defined gaze.
The other method, Double Suture and Twisting (DST), does not require an incision and is less invasive. However, it usually works best on younger patients. Call my Beverly Hills office to discuss which type of eyelid surgery would work best for you.

Cheek, Chin and Jawline Enhancement

Those who were born with a round face and chubby cheeks often worry that it makes
them appear heavier than they actually are. This is a common complaint among many of my Asian patients, who desire a more sculpted appearance. For cheeks that are chubby and overly full, I will usually perform a buccal fat pad removal, which eliminates the excess fat and creates a hollow area below the cheekbones. However, if the patient complains of wide cheekbones and a narrow jawline, I can perform a cheekbone reduction surgery, which brings more proportion to the face. These two procedures can also be combined, creating a slimmer, more contoured look.
Another popular procedure among my patients who were born with a prominent jaw or chin and want a more feminine jawline is jawline reduction surgery, or V-line surgery. I also offer nonsurgical jaw reduction, with an injectable like Botox.

Its been a long and difficult 10 years of rhinoplasty.
