5 days post BA surgery, I haven’t taken muscle relaxant pills at all, will this have a negative effect on me later?

Thanks for your question! In my experience of doing thousands of breast augmentation surgeries, I usually prescribe my patients a muscle relaxer like Valium; however, it’s not critical that you take it, & it won’t adversely affect your outcome. I usually tell my patients to avoid NSAID’s like ibuprofen because it can increase post operative bleeding, but again different surgeons will have different opinions on that. Best of luck to you!

Thank you for your question.  There should be no ill effects of not taking the muscle relaxants.   I am assuming they were prescribed for pain and it might be worth phoning your PS office to make sure they are not part of some protocol they have for implant positioning.
