Dr. Christopher Davidson is a Harvard-trained plastic surgeon who specializes in cosmetic surgery of the breast, body, and face, in addition to body contouring after massive weight loss. Although his primary practice is in Wellesley, Dr. Davidson also operates at Newton Wellesley Hospital.
Everything about my experience with Dr. Davidson and his team was excellent. Not only am I thrilled with my results (B.A.), but everyone I interacted with, from RN to administrators to Dr. Davidson himself was kind, relatable, informative and made me feel in control of the process. The surgery was quick and recovery was much easier and less painful than anticipated. The results speak for themselves! I feel so confident now after breastfeeding 2 babies and couldn’t be happier.
I had looked for well over a year before and after photos from doctors near and far and came across Dr Davidson's website and I remember looking through the before and after photos of the breast augmentation and I thought I would've been happy with any of those results and I'm very picky and there Hadn't been a single doctor that I came across at that point where even half of the results blew me away they have been beyond accommodating with my hectic life and need to change appointments often as I travel almost 2 hours to get there. His entire staff is amazing and although the visits are short, they are effective and to the point and I probably am just sad to not get to spend more time there before my drive home!! He worked some serious magic with a lot of speed bumps along the way between my allergies, an unforeseen things that kept popping up, he kept me calm as I could be and reassured me and quickly addressed any and all of my worries. I would recommend him 100 times over. I feel like he heard all of my concerns and wants and was very clear about expectations and outcomes I went from nothing to 560cc and my only complaint is nobody told me how heavy they would be haha
I could not have asked for a better experience or better results. After deciding I was interested in a chin implant and liposuction, I extensively researched Board Certified Plastic Surgeons in the Boston area and narrowed it down to 3 that I personally met with, with Dr. Davidson being the last. Within moments of meeting him, I knew he was the right choice. Admittedly, I was a little annoyed that many reviews focused on how nice he and his staff are, thinking to myself that I would much rather work with a jerk who gave me great results, but when it came time to have the procedures I realized that bedside manner made all the difference in the world. I cannot imagine how I would have felt being in such a vulnerable position with the other Surgeons and staff that I had met with. With this team though, I can honestly say I had zero nervousness. The procedures went perfectly and I'm certain that he went the extra mile on both, making sure that I would be as pleased as possible with my results. I am truly blown away both by how I look and by how quickly I recovered. The liposuction (of my neck/chin and all the way around my torso) has opened up a world of fashion possibilities and my confidence has skyrocketed. My chin looks so natural, just better. I was back to work in about 10 days (though wore a mask to cover the swelling on my jawline and incision under my chin). If it was just the lipo, I could have gone back to work in 5 days. I truly feel like a new woman and am so very grateful to have found someone so great at what they do. Thank you, Dr. Davidson!!
Dr. Davidson and his staff are WONDERFUL! I had labiaplasty 2 days ago and I cannot believe the results. I am already so confident and grateful I couldn't even wait until 6 weeks was up to give my review. Albeit, I was frightened to have such an intimate procedure done, and nervous if I were making the right decision or not - but the staff at Dr. Davidson's office, including his bedside matter made me so at ease. This was a piece of cake and my only regret is that I wish I had done this sooner. Thank you doc! I feel like a new woman.
I just saw Dr. Davidson for a second opinion on having a revision of my breast lift and augmentation. He was personable, took his time and very honest about the results I have and What a revision could do.
This procedure changed my life. Dr. Davidson and his team made sure they knew exactly what my expectations were as far as size and shape, and made me feel comfortable from consultation to recovery. Scarring is minimal, just around the nipple and under each breast. I highly recommend Dr. Davidson if you're considering this procedure.
I had facelift/necklift procedures performed by Dr. Davidson. The results were nothing short of extraordinary. I didnt think what Dr. Davidson could do was even possible for me. I had a lot of laxity in my neck and jowling. Thanks to his gifted surgical abilities he rejuvenated my face/neck and I appear more youthful and rested. I can now go about my busy life and not worry about appearing tired, sad or cranky. Thank you Dr. Davidson and staff!
I don't know where to start because I could go on and on about my experience with Dr. Davidson and his team, they made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, took the time to listen to all my questions to make sure I understood the process pre and post surgery, there were no surprises, everything went so smoothly. I could not be happier with my results, it's exactly what I wanted, and Dr. Davidson and his team were amazing.
After relying on this site for my breast augmentation decision I wanted to share my experience to try to help others! Overall I’m happy with my decision. Im about 8 weeks post op from under the muscle silicone implants, 255cc in one breast and 275cc in the other. I love the way they look but do hope they soften a bit more over the next few months. Week 1: The first week was pretty tough for me. I expected an easy recovery based on some other reviews, but was certainly not a breeze for me! The first few days were incredibly painful and uncomfortable. It hurt to hoist myself out of bed, I had to wriggle out without using my arms like a worm lol. I couldn’t wash my hair properly because I couldn’t lift and hold my arms above my head. My throat was sore from the tube for anesthesia, and I highly recommend getting some throat lozenges to have ahead of surgery. Also would open your pill bottles ahead of time. I didn’t and when I had to take my prescriptions I felt like I was ripping my chest open to open the bottle. I’m glad I took a full week off work, I almost didn’t since I’m working from home, but glad I gave myself plenty of time to relax to recoup. Week 2: the pain was mostly gone unless I was using my chest muscles at all. But, I was still in a lot of discomfort and chest tightness that made it hard to even take a deep breath. I was able to stop wearing the surgical bra which was good since it was starting to irritate my skin. I went back to work week 2, and although I was tired, there was no real problem resuming work (at a desk job working from home) Week 3: the pain and discomfort subsided a little more everyday. But the implants still felt pretty uncomfortable, they were hard and painful and ugly looking. The recovery definitely requires a lot of patience which is tough for me. Week 4: started to feel more like myself and less burdened by surgery. The implants were still uncomfortable to the touch but definitely getting better Week 5: I started to really notice a change in feel and appearance around week 5. I started working out a little doing light cardio workouts. I started to feel comfortable sleeping on my side again and thank god because I never slept comfortably on my back. Week 6: had my next post op and was told everything is healing great and I had no more restrictions. I started exercising more but am still wary to go full steam. I can’t imagine trying to do something like a plank or a push up even today, my chest is still sore from little movements and I’d be so afraid of messing something up Week 7: implants are softening little by little each day. I finally started to feel like my implants were an after thought rather than a constant concern to think about all day everyday. Week 8: I go back and forth on how they feel. Some days I think they feel so soft and am happy I work from home so I can feel myself up at my desk lol. Other days I’m worried they’re still too hard and dense but it’s early enough they should still continue to soften and drop. The shape is mostly good, I sometimes nitpick and see some unevenness, but this is to be expected since I had asymmetry pre-surgery Overall, I’m happy with my decision and would do it again. Im excited to see them continue to get better over time. There are some days I wish I went bigger but I think I might’ve regretted it if I did since I wanted something subtle, and so far I don’t think anyones noticed since I always used to wear padded push-up bras, and that’s exactly what I wanted! I was so afraid of going too big and initially chose 190cc. My surgeon told me the biggest regret people usually have is going to small, so I decided to go up a little and am so glad with the size I ultimately chose. I think they feel smaller irl than they look in photos, so keep that in mind when choosing a size.
10 out of 10. I went to Dr. Davidson for a full "mommy makeover" - In my consultation with him I knew right away I was in the best hands. I mentioned I might want to do something more- and he said "no you don't need that" He made it clear that he wanted what was best for me- He and his staff walked me through the before process - they made me feel so comfortable even though I was pretty nervous. They answered ANY questions I had- the day of the surgery I was very nervous they were so sweet and had a great sense of humor. Now my surgery - the man is AN ARTIST- My body looks incredible - and my belly button is perfect! I mean perfect. The aftercare has been incredible I would recommend him to anyone who asked- and I do!
In your case, NEVER!!! Please, please, please do not consider liposuction alone... After significant weight loss - individuals like yourself have extra skin. Lipo will just make it worse... My advice would be to seek out a board certified plastic surgeon and get a second opinion! Wishing you the very best of luck.
Botox will help soften the fine lines and wrinkles on your face. Your forehead will appear smoother and give you a more youthful appearance. Botox does not have any lifting properties and it will not decrease the size of your pores. Collagen induction therapy (microneedling) is the option I would choose for your pores. I use the skin fuse skin pen. You can also use this collagen induction therapy technique with PRP (plasma reduced platelets). The blood is taken from your arm with a very small needle and placed in a centrifuge to seperate the red blood cells from the platelets. The platelets have multiple growth factors in them that assist with regeneration of your skin.
Most patients will begin to see changes in the way your face animates and softening of your fine lines and wrinkles as soon as 72-96 hours after Botox administration. Patients will see the full effect of Botox by 2 weeks after being injected.
Most clinicians will tell you that you can see the full effect of Botox by 2 weeks, although it usually doesn't take that long. That being said, you can see changes in the way your face animates as soon as 72-96 hours after the injections. I advise my patients to take a "selfie" daily after being injected to be able to see the improvement in fine lines/wrinkles and your progress.
Thank you for your question. The size of implant that can be fit into your chest depends on several factors. The amount of skin stretch (how loose your skin is), the volume or strength of your pec major muscles, and the dimensions of your torso. Truthfully this can really only be answered by meeting in person with a plastic surgeon so that you can discus the different issues, risks, benefits, and alternatives.Best of luck!
