I’ve tried googling this with no luck, I’m worried about the shape of my breasts, I heard when they drop and fluff they should change size and seem fuller but will they become rounder? More curvaceous on the outter side of my ribs? The outter side of my boob, will they fill out? I really hope so :| I told my surgeon I wanted my boobs to be round and curve alongthe outter side so I hope he has done this, please see pictures along with picture of what I’m trying to describe. Thanks
Answer: Post Op Concerns - Appearance of Breasts Hi roxy4939, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the early stages of the healing process at 4 weeks post op. Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery. Dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position. Also, your breasts can drop at different rates. But if you are still concerned, you can always visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns. This way, you will be reassured. Also, if after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss the possibility of revision surgery. Lastly, follow your plastic surgeons post-operative instructions and advice for faster healing and recovery. Answer: Breast Implant Results Thank you for your question. You are still very early in the recovery process and your breasts will continue to change in appearance over the next several weeks to months. As your skin continues to stretch to accommodate the implant, the implants will settle to create a fuller appearance. I understand the difficulty of the waiting process, but give your body time to adjust and know that your results in a few weeks will be different that what you are seeing in the mirror today. Keep in constant communication with your plastic surgeon about your concerns and follow his/her guidance during the recovery process. Best of Luck!

Answer: See below you are still early in your healing journey. allow your implants to drop to their natural position and they will change the shape of your breasts, they will be rounder and more natural looking. perhaps a binder would help in that direction

Answer: 4 weeks post op, 455cc. When they drop and fluff they should change size and seem fuller but will they become rounder? You are still early in the healing process and what you are seeing are not your final results yet. It usually takes around 6 months to fully heal. You may still be experiencing swelling, bruising, some pains, and tissue tightness at this point in time but rest assured, these will resolve on their own as you heal through the coming months. Usually, at 4 months, the tissues start to relax and the implants slowly fall into the pockets and settle.
