Lumpy feeling on side of breast 2 weeks post op breast augmentation.

Thank you for your question.  The lumpiness that you are feeling may, in fact, be your implant.  This is common in a thin frame with minimal breast tissue.  My advice is to ask for confirmation during an in-person examination.  Best of luck.

I am sorry to hear about what you are experiencing. It is difficult to ascertain what this is and its causes. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon to have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Small lumps or irregularities are common after surgery. Absent any other signs or  symtoms such as fever or pain, it most likely is something that will resolve with time. Massage can often be beneficial in addressing the problem. If you are concerned, have your surgeon examine you.

This doesn't sound too concerning but best to be evaluated by your surgeon. They can examine you and hopefully re assure you.

Thank you for your question.  You are still very swollen 2 weeks after a breast augmenation.  It is not uncommon to feel irregularities at this point of your recovery. You may start feeling odd sensations as your nerves regenerate and muscles heal.  Be sure to ask your plastic surgeon all your questions so they can reassure you. Hope that answer helps.

each side will swell differently and feel differently. you will keep improving for 3 months. some lumpiness and strange sensations etc are very normal, early on in the healing phase.david berman md
