Will my boobs get bigger as they drop? I had my BA almost 3 weeks ago. (Photos)

Thank you for your inquiry!The shape of your breasts will continue to change over the next few months. The reason breast implants ride so high after surgery is because they are placed underneath the pectoral muscle. This muscle is usually flat against your chest, so placing an implant underneath it makes it stretch tightly over the implant thereby slightly flattening and elongating it. As that muscle continues to relax, however, the implant will drop down and round out. So, even though the actual volume of the implant does not change, the breasts may actually feel slightly larger and fill a slightly larger bra cup once they have dropped and rounded out.I hope this answered your question! Based upon my experience of doing thousands of breast augmentation surgeries, I think that you have a very nice early result, & I don’t really believe in much of the “drop & fluff” phenomenon; if your surgery has been done right, then I think that you are really what size that you will end up. Hello and congratulations on your recent procedure. Based on your photos and description, i would say that you'd probably be around a D cup size. All companies make bras differently, so your bra/cup size may vary depending on what designer you decide to purchase. Your breast shape will continue to change in the next few months, giving you more fullness at the bottom and better cleavage. I call implants high, hard and ugly immediately following a breast augmentation procedure and usually, with massaging and time, they start to settle. Hope this helps !

Dear jilow.xoxo,dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position.I understand that you are worried about your implants are not dropping as expected. However, you are still in the early phase of the recovery period. Please do allow some time for the healing process to occur. If after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns.Daniel Barrett, MD

Thanks for your inquiry, your implants will drop and fluff over the first several weeks.  As the fluff your projection will increase, but your bra size may not change much, good luck.

high on the chest wall, which make the breasts look unnatural. Over the course
of next several weeks, implants move down to their final location behind
the breast tissue, which increases the projection. At the beginning, it's not uncommon for one implant
to be at a different level compared to the other one. Your final results can take up to 3  months to show. Best,

Thank you for your question and photographs.  At 3 weeks post operative breast augmentation, you likely still have some swelling.  I would not anticipate an increase in size as healing progresses.  Best of luck.

The shape of your breasts will change as the swelling goes down and pectoralis muscle relaxes. The implants will drop and project more. As the swelling subsides and implants drop, the breasts typically look somewhat smaller, not larger.
