I’m a 38(f) in good health. I created a mock up with my desired result for 10 liposuction, and I am wondering if this is realistic or feasible or if a true result would be much less dramatic.
Answer: Chin Contouring with VASER, ThermiRF, Coolsculpting, Kybella, Thermage, Ultherapy, Exilis, J plasma/Renuvion/Inmode BodyTite I find that VASER liposuction in combination with Renuvion or ThermiRF are best for contouring the chin in those who are candidates, but Kybella can be used as an alternative and gets better results when combined with Thermage/Ultherapy/Exilis, TruSculpt iD, or Coolsculpting. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Is this achievable? It is realistic to achieve a result similar to your altered photo, but it will likely require more than liposuction alone. You can consider skin tightening procedures such as FaceTite or potentially add Morpheus8 treatments to enhance your results. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

Answer: Lipo vs thread lift Liposuction removes fat. It depends if you have fat under your chin, or if its just skin. If it is not fat, you would need something like a thread lift to tighten the skin. You could also benefit from a genioplasty. Your chin is a bit short, and by bringing it slightly forward and down, it would bring balance to your profile, while elongating your jawline and tightening the skin. Our office offers virtual or in-person consultations if you would like to discuss option further!

Answer: Chin Liposuction Hello, hope you are well. That would be an ideal result, but in reality it might not be achievable with submental liposuction for a couple of reasons. You have accentuated the cervicomental angle very nicely, but this is determined in part by the position of the hyoid bone, and not just the presence of excess fat. Secondly, there may be subplatysmal fat which is not really accessed or addressed by liposuction. Sometimes a more direct surgical approach is required to create the neck contour you want, but a physical examination is required to give any further guidance. Best,Dr. Tower

Answer: Chin liposuction, consider small chin implant to enhance results Yes I think you can expect to get that result if you do a combined submental liposuction procedure and a small chin implant. The small implant will enhance the neck chin angle in your desired post op photo.
