Tired and out of breath, 3 weeks post-op. Is that normal?

While fatigue after surgery is quite common, severe shortness of breath is not. While it may be related to normal postop pain, you need to call your surgeon immediately!

Consult with your surgeon regarding your symptoms.  These symptoms can be associated with simple to very serious issues.  Do not delay.  Best wishes on your recovery.

Hi.  Shortness of breath and severe fatigue not normal symptoms for a breast augmentation patient.  You should get evaluated.  The are several different possible causes to rule out.  Your surgeon may wish to send you to an internal medicine specialist for a full work-up.

This is an excellent question for your surgeon.  I am sure s/he can provide you with the best advice without any delay. 

Extreme fatigue and shortness of breath is not usual in the immediate post op course. You should be evaluated by your plastic surgeon as soon as possible.

Tired and out of breath is not normal after breast augmentation and we suggest you contact your surgeon as soon as possible for an evaluation.

Discuss this with your surgeon ASAP and ask to be evaluated furhter, perhaps by your primary care physician.
