Reverse fat transfer done to my face

Thank you for your question. Once fat is injected into your face it is very difficult to remove. You can not cut it out because you may damage the nerves in your face resulting in facial paralysis. Liposuction of your face can also injure your facial nerves resulting in facial paralysis. I would consult with your plastic surgeon who preformed your surgery.   

I have seen many patients with this exact issue. What we have successfully done is melted the fat with the precision hand piece that is an attachment to the cynosure laser system. I call this procedure when performed in different areas Lazerlift. Hooe this helps!!!

The best way to get thin and even results with fat transfer is to place very small amounts in deep levels and allowing 2-3 weeks for the results to determine itself.  Large amounts in one setting can result in unnatural facial appearance, particularly when smiling.  Fat transfer to the face can be difficult to reverse as it may not be in one pocket.  It often traverses in multiple planes of the face.  An evaluation by a qualified physician is necessary to determine if microliposucioning is possible

Sorry you're not very happy with the results.  It can be hard sometimes to reverse fat grafting because it has been placed in deep compartments or right under the skin.  Those areas are difficult to liposuction safely.  However if there are concentrated areas of the fat, then some gentle liposuction might be an option for you.

It can be very difficult to remove facial fat grafts once they are placed, because often they are in multiple layers of the soft tissue.  Sometimes gentle lipo can soften the effect.

Removing fat that was transferred to the face may be done with as simple of a procedure as micro-liposuction. However some times the transferred fat is fibrosed and does not come out with liposuction as easily. Also if the fat was transferred deep into the fat compartments of the face it might be difficult to aspirate and rarely may require surgery.

I use SLIM lipo (laser lipo) to melt the fat.  It can be performed  under local anesthesia using low levels of laser energy.  The fat is turned to oil and is then "rolled" out through a tiny entrance incision.  It requires some finess and sometimes needs a touch-up (2 procedures).

We typically try to increase facial angularity with fat grafting. If an area is overdone, then judicious removal of the excess fat may be necessary. Good luck!
