Fat transfer is more expensive that just liposuction, because it takes the fat that is removed from liposuction, then processes it and injects it into a specific site. It can be very time consuming and with that, requires longer OR times, anesthesia and costs. It is safe to get them done at the same time, but make sure you go to a board certified plastic surgeon who does a lot of these procedures.Hope this helps,
I frequently do both fat transfer and liposuction together. It all depends on what you are looking for. Please see a liposuction specialist/cosmetic surgeon for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer.
Lipo and BBL are done together, you need Lipo in order to obtain the fat you need to transfer to buttocks. It isn't considered too much to have both procedure at the same time. You can have Lipo without BBL if you think you don't need extra size or projection on the buttocks, but, like I said, you can do both at once, and it will not be 'too much', and it will be more affordable, depending on what Doctor you choose. I hope this answer was helpful.
It is necessary that if you want fat transfer a liposuction has to be performed also. Usually the fat transfer raises up a little the price than when only getting liposuction .it is perfectly safe to have them done together , since there is no transfer without lipo.Best wishes
Liposuction is usually part of the fat transfer procedure. This is the part of the harvest process. Best of luck.
Liposuction and fat transfer are performed at the same time. You will need to have the liposuction procedure performed in order to obtain the fat for the transfer. There are many different devices used to obtain fat. My preferred procedure is Aqualipo, because the fat is less harmed with this procedure, thus increasing the survival of the grafted adioocytes.
Hi!! To get the fat for grafting in the buttocks or face the liposuction of excess fat tissue present in diferente areas of body like abdominal region, flanks or back is necessary and it is safe procedure. The cost varies from surgeon. Look for a board certified plastic surgeon .All the Best!! Dr.Brenda Pache
The fat is an invaluable tissue in your body and can be used to help augment buttocks, bosom or other areas. It is always a good idea to consider using the fat instead of just discarding it with a liposuction. They are done together. It is a standard practice for plastic surgeons now. Best of luck to you. In that fat transfer requires liposuction to harvest the fat, that will usually be the more costly procedure. Of course your own needs will determine what the plan is. Good luck!
Fat transfer or fat grafting will always require liposuction to collect excess fat from one area then re-inject it to another to correct the shapeless or gaunt appearance (hollowed cheeks, flat buttocks, or small breasts). The main issue here is not about getting the cheapest deal, but more importantly, achieving impressive results based on what you're expecting to get. Of course, your underlying anatomy must also be taken into account. I hope that helps and good luck.
It would be best to go for a consultation to assess your needs. Soft tissue assessment is very important ans bst done in person. thanks for your question
I wonder why you desire a temporary filler prior to fat grafting? There are some areas of the face where no other filler could possibly provide the same results fat grafting can provide. I would encourage you to have a consultation with a plastic surgeon with extensive experience and...
Thank you for your question. You most likely have not hurt anything. If it is larger it is most likely swelling. Avoid putting any more pressure on the face as much as possible. See your surgeon and let him/her know. Best of luck. Dr. Michael Omidi An...
