Hello everyone, Im a 35-year-old male and Ive been researching options for my under-eye area. I have visible hollowness and darkness, which makes me look more tired than I actually feel. The darkness may be partly genetic, since my sister and parents also have it. While the hollowness is my main concern, Ive also noticed that when I laugh or smile, my under-eyes develop a kind of bag/puffiness on top of the hollowness, which makes the area look even more uneven. Ive been reading about fat grafting as a longer-lasting alternative to filler, and Im wondering if this might be a good solution for me. My biggest concerns are: - Risk of lumps, bumps, or irregular texture after healing - Possibility of fat necrosis -Whether fat grafting could make puffiness or unevenness more noticeable -How natural the results typically look in the long term I want to clarify that Im not looking for filler since I prefer a more permanent solution like fat grafting. Ive attached a photo of my under-eyes for reference. If any surgeons could share their perspective, Id be very grateful. Do you think fat grafting is a safe and effective choice for my concerns, or would you recommend another approach? Thank you in advance for your advice and guidance
Ive had filler in my under eyes and temples . Ive dissolved my under eye fillers due to the Tyndall effect. However, Im bothered by the hollowness on the side of my eye and under still. But mostly the outer corner. What is the best treatment for this? Fat transfer, filler or biostimulator?
I had a deep plane face and neck lift with some fat grafting in the cheek area. I lost quite a bit of weight, which caused me to have very loose sagging skin, with a somewhat gaunt look, and hollow under eyes. When i was younger i had a very balanced and nice shape of face. Im worried that adding even a small amount of fat just to my cheek will change the contours and shape of my face, what reasons would fat be added just to the upper face? Can this still look natural? Thanks
Due to weight loss, what are good options to restore volume in face and neck? Lost 40 lbs over 4 years and lost 20 lbs this year and my skin has lost elasticity, everywhere but most obvious in my face. I also autoimmune disease.
Hi there. I have history of sinus cancer and due to my cancer surgery , I have a sunken face. I did a few session of fat graft and usually it do have a significant results. But unfortunately, I do not see any noticeable result for my last session when I compare the pics taken before and after my last surgery. The plastic surgeon told me maybe my skin will not take in fat graft anymore since the last time I did not have any noticeable results.
Im only 25, and there is a drastic loss of volume in 1 of my cheeks most likely caused by sleeping on that side extensively. Within the past week and a half it seems to have gotten more noticeable and there is even slight pain there from time to time. Realistically, what are my options as a 25 year old to treat this? I'm not interested in getting into dermal fillers where I have to return once or twice every year, is fat grafting the solution for me?
I am unsure how specialised facial fat grafting is and if it is worth going to a very expensive facial surgeon for this. I am also looking at a surgeon much cheaper but mostly does body fat transfer, however he does fat surgeries more frequently and has a good retention rate with his patients. I have been told not to waste lots of money on this as I'll need to do multiple rounds. Considering I am just looking for the apple of my cheeks and nasolabial folds to be addressed is very highly complex? I have seen friends go to the best of the best and have the fat dissolve in a few months anyway and I don't want to waste money. At the same time, I don't want complications. I'd appreciate thoughts from surgeons who do fat transfer on both face and body.
Hello, I have moderate facial volume loss due to weight loss and I do not want to keep using syntheyic fillers. Is micro fat grafting reliable? I was told its 50/50 as far as if the fat will survive. I was interested in AlloClae but was told its more expensive than fat grafting and that its not for the face. Is micro fat grafting a waste of money or does most of whats injected stay? Is AlloClae not an option then?
