J PLASMA VS TUMMY TUCK VS LAPAROSCOPIC REPAIR I recently had my second and last kid. Due to the pregnancy, I have a lot of loose skin, diastasis recti and a Hernia. I want to avoid the massive scar I will get from a tummy tuck. Is it possible for me to Tighten all my loose skin from JPlasma or another recommended skin tightening treatment and then do Laparoscopic repair for my diastasis recti and hernia instead of a fully tummy tuck?

Hello @tpeete3354, thank you for your question. J plasma is capable of improving the structure of skin by causing the tissue to contract. As well as skin near the navel that has been ruptured due to stretch marks, the application of muscle must be done using an open technique. You can have a modified lipectomy that leaves a small scar and improve all aspects of your appearance. based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

You will need a tummy tuck to correct the loose skin. If you are not planning future pregnancies, I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight.

No, you have too much skin to consider any radiofrequency or laser tightening procedures. Only excision will remove all your excess skin.

When I inspect your photo, I can tell that J-plasma or any other skin tightening technology will not help to tighten your skin properly. The skin sagginess is all along the abdominal skin, so you’re a good candidate for a tummy-tuck operation. A strong muscle repair and hernia repair can be done easily with tummy tuck. So I would stronglu recommend you to go with surgery instead of seeking non surgical tightening and laparoscopic muscla/hernia repair, which may not help but complicate your situation.

From your photo you will not achieve good results from J-Plasma.  It is designed for those with good skin elasticity.  You will have significant improvement with a standard tummy tuck.  It will remove excess skin and fat as well as correct abdominal wall laxity.  Your hernia can be addressed at the same time.  If desired, liposuction can be added for further contouring.
