Hello I received my first Lipo and BBL in 2018 and had my revision in 2021. I am now looking into getting a tummy tuck and hopefully a doctor that would be able to get whatever fat they can out of my stomach and back and possibly my arms to add fat transfer to my left side to make it match my right. I may have a hernia on my belly button too. I need a doctor that can help please any advice
Answer: Abdomen It would be easier on you to do the liposuction and fat transfer as a separate procedure from the tummy tuck because you will have to avoid pressure on the fat grafted site for 3 months. You will be more limited on ways you can sleep with both procedures.

Answer: Tummy Tuck Thank you for your questions and photos. A tummy tuck will address excess skin & repair of the abdominal muscle. The abdominal wall can be weakened after pregnancy and (or) significant weight gain & loss. By repairing the muscle, not only does the appearance of your abdominal area improve, but your core strength as well. The repair of the muscle will cinch your waist like an inner corset, which will accentuate your curves. Repair of your hernia can be done at the same time. Liposuction will remove excess fat from unwanted areas with some skin retraction. Your expectations and health will dictate the best procedure(s) for you. I suggest a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to go over the options that best address your goals. Best of luck! Answer: Tummy tuck From your photos you appear to be a good candidate for a standard tummy tuck. This would address loose skin and excess fat as well as correct abdominal wall laxity. Your hernia can be corrected at the same time. Your surgeon will be able to evaluate your situation during an in person consultation with regard to a fat transfer to the buttocks. See a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

Answer: Tummy tuck with mesh reinforcement If you are not planning future pregnancies, I recommend abdominoplasty with mesh reinforcement. The mesh creates a more hourglass figure by compressing the abdominal wall resulting in early satiety and helps maintain a reduced weight. This will resolve your hernia as well. The fat can be harvested and transferred to your buttocks. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
