After 1.5 years of thorough research and consultations with a total of six different surgeons, I ultimately chose Dr. Ak. My decision was based on his consistently strong results, his ability to truly contour the body, and—importantly—his aesthetically superior belly button results. In addition, safety is clearly his top priority; he does not perform high-risk procedures. As a single parent of a young child, this gave me tremendous peace of mind. I am now 8 weeks post-op and I genuinely could not be happier with my results from an extended tummy tuck, lipo 360, and BBL. I am 47 years old and have never had such a beautiful body in my life. My goal was simply to feel comfortable enough to wear a shirt or blouse tucked into my pants (instead of always covering my stomach), but now I even wear crop tops—something I never thought would be possible. The pain after surgery was much more manageable than I expected: on a scale of 1 to 10, it was at most a 5 during the first two days. After that, it was mainly discomfort rather than real pain. Paracetamol was sufficient, and within five days I didn’t even need that anymore. My recovery has been very smooth, without any fibrosis. The scar is already thin and light. I followed all guidelines and instructions very strictly, and I also chose to undergo hyperbaric oxygen therapy both before and after surgery, which may have contributed to my recovery. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Ak for his craftsmanship and attention to detail—he truly is a body architect in my eyes. Special thanks as well to Rabia, who guided me clearly and pleasantly in Dutch throughout the entire process, from preparation to aftercare. And Serpil, the massage therapist, was truly a godsend: daily wound care, massages, assistance with showering, and emotional support. I would also like to mention my lipo massage therapist in the Netherlands: Bodyshape by Lourdes. I started treatments with her immediately upon returning home and still go weekly. Lourdes has highly skilled hands, provides valuable advice, and has a heart of gold. On top of that, she is incredibly kind. Together, they form an absolute dream team for me.

My experience with Dr Ak and his coordinator, Rabia was fantastic. I was very well taken care of from start to finish. Nothing was left undone. Dr. Ak gave me an honest consultation, aware of what my desires are and followed it perfectly. Rabia coordinated the transportation and pre op appointments. Very thorough. I had a breast lift and reduction, as I had very significant asymmetry between my 2 breasts, which I was unsure if it would be possible to correct. During my consultation, Dr Erman explained clearly what the surgery would involve and what would be done to correct this asymmetry, which I found very informative. What I appreciated was the fact that Dr Erman explained the complications which may occur as this would be a difficult surgery, this allowed me to make an informed decision which every patient deserves to know! Dr. Erman Ak is very personable. He obviously cares for his clients. I had answers to any questions I had very quickly. He is a very skilled surgeon. I would say he is quite conservative as a surgeon which I really appreciate as I didn't feel pushed into procedures I wasn't ready for.

I had a BBL and 360° liposuction with Dr. Erman AK, and he is truly, by far, the best doctor I could have chosen for this procedure. I am more than satisfied with my results and overall experience. The pain has been very manageable and completely within reason. Currently, I am receiving lymphatic massages from the lovely Serpil, who truly has magical hands. The massages are very pleasant, I feel no pain, and afterward I feel a thousand times lighter. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the communication, the surgery itself, and the aftercare. I would make the exact same decision again without hesitation and can wholeheartedly recommend him.

Suite à une perte de poids puis une grossesse et à nouveau une perte de poids, je me suis renseignée pour un mommy makeover. Il a réalisé mon opération et j’en suis complètement satisfaite !! Le travail est précis et donne le résultat dont je n’avais même pas osé rêver ! I can’t recommend Dr Erman Ak highly enough. I went to him for a corrective breast augmentation with lift after having a previous breast augmentation in 2021 that needed to be redone, and from start to finish the experience was exceptional. I flew from the UK to Istanbul for my surgery, and I can honestly say I didn’t feel worried for a single moment. From the first consultation through to aftercare, everything was so well organised and professional that I felt completely safe and confident in my decision. Dr Erman Ak is incredibly meticulous and thorough. My surgery took around four hours, whereas a standard breast augmentation usually takes about two, which really shows the level of care, precision, and attention to detail he puts into his work. Nothing felt rushed — every step was done properly and thoughtfully. He made me feel completely at ease, and the same goes for his entire team. From the nurses to the support staff, everyone was professional, kind, and extremely informative. The clinic itself was spotless and very reassuring in terms of cleanliness and standards. The aftercare was also excellent. I was given everything I needed and very clear, detailed instructions on what to do during recovery, which made the healing process feel much less stressful. One thing that truly stood out to me was Dr Erman Ak’s stitching technique. Even with an anchor scar, after just two weeks there were areas where you could barely see where the stitches had been — they were that fine and precise. The level of skill is honestly impressive. If you’re considering a primary or corrective breast surgery and are even thinking about travelling abroad, I would 100% recommend Dr Erman Ak and his team. I would make the same decision again without hesitation.

The best doctor. I did so much research and couldn’t find a single bad word about Dr Erman AK. There’s also a community of people who have had surgery and are all thrilled with their results on What’s App and the aftercare has been incredible. Not a single bad point and if you’re considering surgery then 100% go for it!

Ik ben hier 21 Januari geopereerd, aan alles is gedacht, van transfers overal naar toe tot de faja en de massages na de operatie! Dr Ak is heel kundig, heel aardig en luistert naar wat jij precies wilt, Rabia de assistent kan je alles vragen en staat je 24/7 te hulp en niks is te gek voor haar. Serpil van de massages heb gouden handen, na de eerste massage voel jeje weer als nieuw en herboren. Voor dat ik wegga naar huis krijg ik nog een checkup van de arts zelf om te kijken of echt alles goed is. Ik heb mij geen een moment angstig gevoeld bij dit team! Ook de zusters in het ziekenhuis zijn aardig en hebben het beste met je voor!
