Would it be possible to fix my upturned tip without altering my bridge? (Photos)

Question

I need a revision for my high, pointy tip. My goal is to have it rounded, and brought down slightly to have more harmony with my bridge. I don't want a dramatic change in the rest of my nose, though. I like my low bridge and don't want me nose brought down or straightened... would it be possible to achieve this? I have added edits of what my goal is, as well as my current front view

I believe this could be possible. I would recommend seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon (with a 6 year integrated plastic surgery residency and The Aesthetic Society accredited aesthetic fellowship) for a consultation. I would recommend a physical exam in person to further evaluate what is going on with the nose.

You can certainly achieve your desired rhinoplasty outcome.  You will need to have a bit of work performed on your nasal tip as it is asymmetric and over rotated but a well performed revision can give you the nose that you have desired.

Your tip is quite over-projecting, meaning it comes forward away from your face too far. Your bridge is in a good position, so you're right that the bridge shouldn't be modified. But the tip, I think, should be brought back closer to your face much more than what you drew. I also agree that the tip is sharp and should be rounded.

How *much* to bring that tip back closer to the face, and to soften the tip, and what it will do to your upper lip, and other changes? We figure that out with morphs, well before surgery. I'd love for you to see some excellent professionally-designed morphs of what could possibly be done with your nose. I can send you a morph of what I picture for your nose if you like, to compare to your try. Morphs could also help you identify better just what's bothering you, and help you set a goal for the rhinoplasty that's accurate for your tastes. Profile and three-quarter views would be particularly important in morphing your nose. (Side note: in my opinion, morphs should really be done by the surgeon, or he should direct an assistant as she makes the morphs. Morphs should be made with a constant eye to what actually *can* be done in surgery, for that particular nose, and the surgeon has that information and judgment best.)

Finally, remember that rhinoplasty is an exquisitely difficult operation to get right, and you should only have surgery if you are able to make yourself very confident in your surgeon's skills. The changes that your nose needs require advanced techniques, and skill that most plastic surgeons don't possess with expertise. Thanks for reaching out.  The answer to your question is YES.  This is a common procedure among surgeons who are well-versed in revision rhinoplasty.  By the pictures you provided, the dorsum of the nose looks well-positioned.  It's the over-rotation (upturned) and over-projection (sticking out too far) that is resulting in a very unnatural appearance.  I recommend doing some research and seeking out a few consultations with board-certified specialists who have extensive experience in revision rhinoplasty and advanced grafting techniques.
