It has been almost 6 months since I had my surgery with Mark and I am so happy with my results. Mark made me feel comfortable and confident from start to finish. The team at Horizon were always friendly, kind and understanding. I had an unexpected reaction to the elastoplas post surgery, resulting in severe swelling and weeping. Mark acted quickly to reverse the reaction and Nurse Connie was amazing. Almost 6 months on and the red stripes on my cheeks are still slightly visible. The surgery corrected my deviated septum, I can breath much better and the appearance of my nose is better than I expected. My submental chin liposuction gave amazing results. If I was ever to undergo cosmetic surgery again, Mark and the team at Horizon would be my go to without a doubt.

Rather than focusing extensively on specific details of my nose which causes a lot of emphasis on dramatic outcomes, Dr Baldwin spent a lot of time discussing mindset, acceptance, and sharing stories from other patients’ journeys, which helped put my own concerns into perspective. His confidence and strong artistic vision made it easy to trust his judgement and feel guided by his expertise throughout the process. He emphasised the importance of loving things that aren't always "perfect", which was a super refreshing reminder that cosmetic surgery doesn’t always need to result in obvious, dramatic change. I liked that he took a lot of control and initiative in the process and felt truly guided by his expertise. I found it very easy to have trust in him to deliver a natural, understated, refined result. His advice in consultations were so beneficial, especially for someone who values subtlety and is comfortable with a slower, more reflective relationship with cosmetic change. Instead of relying on morphs or visual simulations, which often leads to unnatural outcomes, the consultation focused more on conceptual discussion and I had a lot of trust in Dr Baldwin’s expertise and direction. This approach helped me let go of rigid ideas about outcome and remain open to how the result would settle and evolve naturally over time. I am so happy with my nose. After cast removal, it still looked very natural and subtly refined, although as time progressed It truly was comforting seeing how my nose settled, matured, and evolved over time into an even more natural result that mirrors my old features but better. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr Baldwin to patients who value timeless, elegant, understated results. If you are looking for a rhinoplasty so natural that no one will realise anything has been done, he is the best surgeon! He truly understands how subtle refinement can elevate a face in a very natural manner. His results boosted my confidence a lot, and I absolutely love how my new nose is just like my old nose but *better*. It truly elevated my face in a natural, subtle way. I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with Mark Baldwin. Rhinoplasty was something I had wanted for a very long time. I was recommended by a friend who also saw Mark who spoke highly of their experience and results were incredible. Initial consultation with Mark, I found him to be down to earth, not suggestive in what should be done but understanding of what I didn’t like, also being very matter of fact in what to expect in results and how each person heals differently. Mark made me feel comfortable the whole time with my decision purely based on his professionalism and expertise. I am almost 4 weeks post surgery and can say although I won’t see final results due to healing process and swelling, I am already incredibly happy and am enjoying this next chapter of my life with new found confidence. Pre surgery at hospital, of course a few nerves, however Marks bedside manner was also something I really appreciated. Coming to speak pre surgery and have a nice chat and laugh really made me feel at ease. Mark has a very calm manner which again is something to be commended. I cannot speak highly enough of Mark, plus the Horizon team. I would not hesitate in recommending Mark to anyone. He truely is an expert in his field and craft.

Every time I go in, the girls at the front are so lovely and helpful — they make you feel comfortable straight away. And Mark has been incredible. He’s helped me feel so much more confident, and I’m honestly just really happy with everything. The whole experience has been better than I ever expected. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Mark won me over from my initial consultation. He was kind, he was funny, he was realistic about expectations but most importantly to me, he is an advocate for loving the body we are in, even the imperfections. Baldy, as the nurses at the hospital affectionately called him, is highly skilled at what he does, but he does not push for unnecessary surgeries, in fact, he will be more likely to try to talk you into learning to love (or at least accept) those areas that you may not like..because they are part of you. Some people won't gel with that...those that strive for perfection no matter the cost, but it resonated with me. My story, I lost 43 kilos after bariatric surgery resulting in lots of sagging skin. After a consultation with Mark i settled on the two areas that bothered me most, my stomach and arms. Sure I have excess skin elsewhere, but after talking to him, I realised I am still a 43 year old woman who has lived life, and it's ok to have areas that aren't magazine-perfect. I had my surgery at Francis Perry hospital (part of the Royal Womens) and the care was first rate. I had my brachioplasty and FDL abdominoplasty with no complications aside from needing my drains in longer than expected for my stomach(apparently I'm extra juicy), but even then, Mark's team of nurses were there for me every step of the way, whether via a phone consult to put my mind at ease, or additional appointments just to monitor my progress. All at no extra charge. Today I had my 6 month check up and both Mark and myself are extremely happy with the outcome. I have no hesitation in recommending Mark for anyone looking for a skilled surgeon in Melbourne, and should I one day decide to have further surgery, he would 100% be the surgeon i call upon to do it!

Hi big breasted ladies. The best decision I have made in my life. I thought I was too old to get my breast reduced and lifted. Thank god I did it. Love myself and my boobs. They are perfect. Never had boobs like this ever. Even when I was a teenager I felt I always had big boobs. Dr Mark Baldwin would have to be on the top of Plastic Surgeon. He did an amazing job. I feel sexy all the time I’m so much lighter in walking sleeping. I don’t have these big boobs that flop from side to side during sleep. I don’t have to wear underwire bras which I’ve never done. I’m still in disbelief that these are my breast now. Get them done. Recovery was ok. It’s really only 2 weeks that you have to be really really careful. After that you can ease a little. It’s taken me a long time to remember to write this review because I honestly don’t think about my nose very often. Which is amazing because it was my biggest insecurity and I couldn’t breathe before! Dr Mark Baldwin is so genuine, easy to talk to and really listens. He is amazing at what he does. I had complete trust in him from the first consult and the recovery process was so smooth because him and the team were so approachable and I had realistic expectations. Now I can breathe properly and I feel so much more confident. Wouldn’t change a thing about the process or my result.

I cannot recommend Mark and the team at Horizon Plastic Surgery enough. From the very beginning, he was realistic, honest, and completely genuine — with just the right amount of humour to make the whole experience feel less intimidating.
