I have been wanting to get breast implants for years. But I have been on antidepressant for about a year now. So I'm just wondering would I have to stop taking the antidepressant?

Answer: Medications Oral anti depressants are not an issue with breast surgery. Take your medication the night prior. Advise your surgeon of the medications you are on.

Answer: Anti-depressants and implants Thank you for your question . Yes, you can have a breast augmentation surgery while on anti-depressants. If you take your medication in the am and your surgery is in the am, you can take it later the same day and continue your normal medication schedule the day after surgery.
