As my upcoming surgery gets closer (4 days away june 23), i was on google trying to search how rare it would be to die from an infection from surgery. And i read that if you have a prior infection to surgery (my bladder infection), it significantly increases your risks. I told my OBGYN BEFORE i started taking the meds that my surgery was in a week. She said "its perfectally ok, you will be off the meds by then". What do i believe? If i do get an infection can they make me better so i wont die?
