Hi! I am very unhappy with the way my body looks postpartum. I am interested in a breast lift with implant, tummy tuck and also possibly liposuction with fat transfer to the hips. Am I a good candidate for these procedures? Is there anything else you’d suggest? What should I get first, or is best to get it all done together?

Answer: Considerations before proceeding. Assuming that you were a young healthy person, there should be no reason why you can’t proceed with the procedures that you wish. You should consider the following first. If you are breast-feeding you should wait six months after the last time that you breast-fed prior to considering having your breast augmentation with a breast lift. This helps to decrease the risk of complications with your implants and gives your breasts a chance to stabilize in size. From your photos, I don’t see the need for a tummy tuck, although a physical exam may clarify that, and only a small amount of liposuction should be needed and you may wish to reconsider your fat grafting to your hips, as you’re overall contour shape look excellent. The procedures that you requesting can easily be done all of the same time and this helps to give you only a single surgery as well as a single recovery and also helps to decrease your costs. Consult with a certified plastic surgeon. Best wishes.
