I had my first baby December 31,2021, vaginal. I had my second baby March 26.2024, emergency c-section, post partum hemorrhage in the OR room so they gave me a hysterectomy to stop the bleeding all on March 26,2024. Resulted me in having to get blood transfusion and having temporary high blood pressure.. i take nifedipine now until my cardiovascular doctor tells me I don't need it. Now I'm trying to figure out what procedure i need... i would love to do an umbilical hernia and lipo 360.

Answer: Mommy makeover Hi from Istanbul!Thank you for your question. You are a good candidate for tummy tuck, hernia repair, liposuction especially for your back. J plasma or Argon plasma can be a good alternative for your back to make skin tighter and it will reduce the risk of sagging. I would not recommend you liposuction and plasma for your abdomen instead of tummy tuck. Best Luck

Answer: Tummy Tuck vs. Lipo 360 with J-Plasma: Which Is Best for You Along with Umbilical Hernia Repair? Thank you for your question and for sharing your history and photos. Given your recent medical history, including the emergency C-section, hysterectomy, and subsequent health concerns, it's crucial to ensure that you are in good health before considering elective surgery. I strongly recommend discussing your plans with your cardiologist to make sure you are medically cleared for the procedures you’re considering. If you are cleared for surgery, your best results would likely be achieved with a tummy tuck combined with umbilical hernia repair. A tummy tuck would allow for the repair of your rectus abdominis muscles, which can be particularly beneficial after pregnancy and abdominal surgery. Additionally, it would remove excess skin and fat from the lower abdomen, providing a more comprehensive contouring result. If you prefer not to undergo a tummy tuck, Lipo 360 combined with J-Plasma would be your next best option. Lipo 360 would contour your midsection, while J-Plasma would help tighten the skin. However, keep in mind that for body shapes like yours, the tummy tuck typically offers superior results, especially when addressing both excess skin and muscle laxity. Regardless of the procedure you choose, it’s important to approach it with realistic expectations and ensure you’re in the best possible health before proceeding. If weight loss is a goal, achieving that first can also improve your surgical outcomes. I hope this helps to answer your questions and provides guidance on the best procedure for you. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen

Answer: Central fullness It appears that you have a large amount of deep visceral fullness, that will not be improved by liposuction or tummy tuck. The best approach is to seek the care of a weight loss consultant, to deplete the deep adipose tissue (fat) around your organs. After losing the weight, you can then consider surgical options to perfect your result.
