I’m going to be getting a mommy makeover. Tummy tuck, lipo and implants. I’m 5’9 151 pounds (measurement doctor took was 13-13.5). Doc suggested 450-500 cc’s. I want a nice body appropriate size (don’t want to look top heavy- am a bit worried about this) but I also want nice boobs. Doc said I’m a B currently. In my head was thinking a nice really full C small D does this sound like right size? Chose middle profile option.
Answer: Cup size When determining your cup size, you should never compare what you are going to look by judging what those same implants may look like on someone else. You can put the same implant size and style in ten different women and you can have 10 different looks and bra sizes. Everyone's body presents different measurements all around. Generally, when going with an implant over 350 cc's you are pretty much always going to be at least big C to a D cup. There are many factors that will determine this answer for each person, how much breast tissue they started with, what their measurements are in other areas, etc... Once all of your swelling diminishes after a breast augmentation, usually by your three month mark, you will know exactly what bra size you will be.

Answer: Surgery The 500 cc implants are too large and heavy for most women and will probably push you into the DD cup range which is large. I would suggest considering 350-400 cc's for a nice size that will look good on you as your age. The 500 cc implants will not look good when you hit 60, possibly even 50.

Answer: Implant size Thanks for your question! Based on your stats, I think that would be a good size for you. Being a bit taller means that you can accommodate more implant without looking top heavy. Good luck!

Answer: Implant size Dear Brittany1985, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Your choice This is really a choice that you have to make since it’s your body. Your surgeon provided a range for you based on your body measurements and goals, so anything within that range would probably be suitable.
