It's safe for you to have surgery during your period. However, since you mentioned that your breasts are sore during menstruation, you can consider scheduling your surgery at another time. Some women find that they become extra sensitive to discomfort during their period, and this may make the surgical experience more difficult.

heels grappie. It is not uncommon to safely perform breast augmentation during menstruation. However if your breasts truly become a lot larger during your period, and you are very regular, you may want to work around it. Talk to your plastic surgeon. Good luck!
Hello and thank you for your question. Thebest advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. Having surgery during your menstrual cycle will not cause any problems. This is very common. Make sure you specifically lookat before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgeryperformed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The mostimportant aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommendthat you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon whocan evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Dear neela grappie,Menstruation at the time of surgery is not known to cause any complication. You can proceed as planned. Good luck!
It is often difficult to reconcile your preferred surgical date, the surgeon's schedule and your menstrual cycle. Therefore, it is quite common to have surgery during your menstrual cycle. If your breasts very engorged and painful and it's possible to delay your surgery it may be preferable, but that is usually not the case. .
It should not be a problem. I have operated on many patients that have been in the middle of their cycle.
